Heavenly Father, thank You for the book of Isaiah and the many truths within its pages. Thank You that You sent Jesus to save Your people from their sins. Thank You that You came to save me and place me into Your heavenly family, by grace through faith in Christ Jesus my Saviour. Keep me from wandering away from the truth of Your Word. Give me an understanding heart and a love for You that grows with every passing day. This I ask in Jesus’ name, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, as I read through Your Word, I realise how quickly and easily a man of God or a woman of faith can become derailed when they begin to follow the things of this world. Keep me low at the Cross, broken before You, and teach me the lessons You would have me learn from Your righteous dealings with Israel. Thank You that in Your grace, You still maintain a tiny remnant of believers that do not stray from the path of peace but stand firm on the Word of truth. I pray that I too may be counted among the remnant. This I ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, thank You for the way that You have used Israel as an example to us of the importance of purifying our heart and learning all that You want to teach us as we journey through life. I pray that I may shun evil and renounce those things that dishonour Your name and live godly in Christ Jesus - Who is my life and my Salvation - and in Whose name I pray, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, as I see the influence that pagan beliefs, idolatrous practices, worldly philosophies, women’s lib, and other unbiblical practices have on the Church today, I pray that You would stir up Christian leaders to stand firm on the Word of God. Please help the people of God to study to show themselves approved unto Him so that we do not fall into the terrible trap into which Israel fell, when children oppressed the people by dictating their own rules, and when the sanctity of family life was overturned by worldly philosophies and pagan practices. Lord, as I see the same ungodly worldview flooding the earth today, keep me low at the Cross and broken before You, and may I live my life according to Your will and Your way. This I ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, I confess that I have not only hurt other people, and especially those that are close to me, but I have offended You and ignored some of the warnings that I believe were directly or indirectly sent from You. Help me I pray to break free of this ungodly addiction and get on the road to recovery.
Forgive me Lord, for I have sinned against You and ignored the clear teaching of Your Word to live soberly, righteously and in the fear of the Lord and to walk circumspectly before You, as a child of the light. But I come to You in humble submission to ask You to help me to get on the road to addiction recovery, for I know that You have promised to lift-up all who come to You out of the miry pit, even when we have foolishly dug it for ourselves.
Help me be set free from alcohol, putting on the breastplate of righteousness, and for the helmet of salvation in Christ, in Whose name I pray,
Heavenly Father, what a great and magnificent God You are. Keep me looking away from the world to Jesus Who alone is my Protector and Provider, Who died in my place, rose again, and Who is now seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven. Hallelujah! In Jesus' name, AMEN.
Father God, the glory of Your Person and the perfection of Your character amazes me. May I lift my voice to You every day like the cherubim who sing around Your throne: "Holy, holy holy is the Lord of hosts, the whole earth is full of His glory." Praise Your holy name! In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, teach me more of Who You are and show me how flawed my understanding is of who I truly am and of all that Christ has done for me. Thank you for cleansing my lips and washing me clean in the blood of Jesus. Thank You for sending Your Holy Spirit to live in me and for building me up, into the living Temple, with all who are saved by grace, through faith in Christ. In a world that has lost its way, I pray in Jesus' name, "Lord. Here am I, send me." AMEN.
Heavenly Father, it must have been wonderful for Isaiah to see the Lord, high and lifted up, but what a solemn message he was given, that people would hear his words but reject his message. Lord, it is human nature to expect people to respond positively to the glorious gospel of grace, and yet I see that many will hear the words of the gospel but not listen or understand because of the hardness of their hearts. Help me not to become discouraged when I try to share the gospel and am rebuffed or scorned. Help me to be faithful in the work You have given me to do and I pray that some would hear and respond with repentance and joy, for the honour of Your holy name. This I ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, You alone are wise and good. Thank You for the truths that are contained in Your holy Word and that by Your grace You told us the end from the beginning. Thank You that You sent Your Son to be born of a virgin and become the full and final atonement for my sin. Thank You that Jesus walked the earth as a Man and understands all the limitations of our humanity. I am so thankful that He fully understands my weaknesses, having been tempted in all things, yet without sin. Thank You for my precious Saviour Who helps me in my trials and temptations and Who is coming back one day to finalise His authority over sin, the world, and the devil. To Him be all the glory, world without end, AMEN.
Thank You, Father, for sending Jesus as the Light of the world to enlighten everyone coming into the world. Thank You that in Him is the light of the glorious gospel of grace that can never be quenched by the darkness of this world. I praise and thank You that His Light has come into my life and enlivened my spirit and enlightened my soul. Open my eyes more and more to see Jesus and to grow more like Him. Give me greater understanding of all that You have achieved in my life, for without You I would remain in darkness and dead in my sin. Thank You for Your great salvation, to You be all praise and glory forever. In the name of Jesus I pray, AMEN.
Loving Lord, no matter how many times I read of the wonder of Your incarnation as the Word made flesh, it fills me with wonder and praise. Lord, I worship You in the beauty of holiness, and I bow down before Your throne of grace in wonderment, for holy is Your name. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, thank You for the wonderful prophecies of Isaiah and the hope we all have in Christ. Thank You that the day is coming when Your people will be fully and finally regathered back to the land You promised to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and their seed forever. Foster in their hearts a desire to know the truth. Open the Scriptures to their understanding, that they may see Jesus in the books of Moses, the prophetic writings of Your holy prophets, and the Messianic Psalms of David. I pray for the day when the nation will acknowledge Jesus as Lord and all Israel shall be saved. This I ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.
Thank You, Lord, for my wonderful salvation. Praise the Lord O my soul, for You are a great and mighty God. As I go into the world today as Your representative, give me increased boldness to speak the name of Jesus. May my life reflect Your grace and goodness, to Your praise and glory. In Jesus’ name I pray, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, thank You that Jesus is the one and only Bright Morning Star and that my life is hid with Christ in God. Thank You that nothing can pluck me out of His hands. Thank You that Satan is a defeated foe and that in Christ I have all that is needed to resist the devil and to stand firm in this evil day. I pray that the minds of many who have been deceived by Satan's evil lies and blinded to the truth of the glorious gospel of Christ, may come to see the truth that Jesus is the only Way to God, the only true Light of God, and that in Him is Life everlasting. In Jesus' name, AMEN.
Dear Heavenly Father, You are my God, my Lord, and my salvation. I will praise Your name forever and ever, for You have done wonderful things for me and for all who trust in Your unfailing goodness and mercy. Praise the Lord O my soul, and let all that is within me glorify and worship His holy name. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.
Dear God, I know that it is Your will to help those that are afflicted, to support the weak, to provide for the widows and orphans and to help those that are in need.
Use my hands to be of service to those in need, and use my voice to speak words of healing and encouragement to those that are afflicted and in distress. Thank You for hearing my prayer. In Jesus' name,
Loving Father, we rejoice in our salvation and the blessed hope of Christ's soon return. Thank You for the faithful promises that You have made to us and to Your people Israel. Renew our joy and faith in believing and may we wait in joyful anticipation for Christ's any day return for His Church. We bless and praise You that Your promises to Israel are also 'Yes' and 'Amen' in Christ Jesus our Lord, to Whom be all praise and glory forever, AMEN.
Loving Father, I pray that the thoughts of my heart and the meditation of my mind would be centered on You, moment by moment, so that the righteousness and peace of Christ will kiss my life as I walk in spirit and truth, in the power of the Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ name, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your never-failing goodness and Your promise of peace and righteousness in Christ Jesus my Lord. Keep me looking to You, depending upon You, and trusting in You every day of my life. I love You, Lord. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, how I praise and thank You for the wonderful example of this little remnant of Israel, about whom Isaiah wrote. I pray that like them, my soul would long for You day and night and that You would guide me into all truth so that I may tell forth the glories of Your name - so that the world may know that You are the Lord. This I ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, how precious to know that You have always had a remnant that is true to the gospel of God, despite many in Christendom following after false gods and unbiblical doctrines. No matter what path others choose to take, I pray that You would keep my feet planted on the Rock of my salvation. Help me to walk in the way of righteousness, for Your name's sake and for Your greater glory. Thank You for the prophetic writings that remind me of the importance of looking to You, moment by moment, in spirit and in truth. In Jesus' name, AMEN.
Loving Heavenly Father, You put us into families and set a father as the leader and role model for each family, but Lord, there are many families that are being torn apart by a husband and father that has become addicted to alcohol.
Knowing the devastating nature of this disease, I pray that You would prompt each one to turn away from this evil habit to become the responsible husband and father that You desire each one to be.
Lord, we know that there are many alcoholic husbands that abuse their wives both physically and emotionally and that many children are also placed in danger due to abuse from an alcoholic father. And also Lord, we know that such drinking habits can often leave families with insufficient money to live on.
Protect all those that are vulnerable from all forms of abuse, and convict such men of the responsibilities of being loving husbands and dependable fathers. Lord, we pray that they turn from their evil ways to turn to the Lord Jesus, knowing that only in You is true freedom found.
Thank You Father. I commit all families that are in this position into Your safe-keeping. In Jesus' name,
Heavenly Father, thank You that Your plans and purposes will never fail and that nothing happens in our lives that is not known or permitted by You, for our eternal benefit and to Your greater praise and glory. Until that great day when Jesus comes in the clouds to rescue the Church from the wrath that is to be poured out on a Christ-rejecting, sinful world, I pray that I may be salt and light to those whom You place in my path. This I ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, thank You for the lessons I can learn from the testimony and prophetic writings of Isaiah and other prophets of God who warn against disobedience and encourage us in our faith. May I open my ears to all that You have to say and help me and stand fast on the Word of God, which gives life and health to the penitent sinner. This I ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, I pray that as I read through Your Word You would teach me the many lessons that need to be learned - that I must not put my trust in the wisdom of man but in the Word of Truth - the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank You that in Him I have life and hope and an inheritance in heaven. Give me discernment to do that which is right in Your eyes and eschew all that is evil. Thank You that the day is coming when the curse of death will be removed forever and Jesus will put all enemies under His feet. I pray that I may never be swayed by the deceptive words of worldly men or lying politicians, but look to Jesus, moment by moment and trust in Him alone. This I ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, thank You for the incredible message of the Cross and for giving me an understanding of the staggering truth that God, in the Person of Jesus Christ, came to earth to live and die as a man. By grace through faith in Him I have been saved and am being conformed into the likeness of Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank You that the Holy Spirit lives in me and guides all those who trust in You into all truth. Praise Your holy name! AMEN.
Help me, Lord, to abide in You, to rest in Your love, and to trust in Your strength in quietness and confidence. You alone are my Sustainer, my Provider, and my Defender. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, thank You that You are my God and Saviour. Thank You for the grace You have shown to me and to all who trust in Christ for salvation. I pray for Your people, Israel... that many would repent and turn to Christ by trusting in His shed blood for the forgiveness of sins and life everlasting - to Whom be all honour and glory, forever and ever, AMEN.
Loving Father, I praise and thank You for Your faithfulness, even when I am faithless. I long to tune the ears of my heart to Your promptings and to always listen to Your voice. Thank You that You are always there to hold me steady when the enemy of my soul seeks to entrap me. More than anything I thank You for sending Jesus to be my Saviour and my Friend; my Way and my Life, my Guide and my Comforter - my constant Companion and the Rock of my salvation - in Whose name I pray, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, thank You for the unfolding plan of redemption and the wonderful way that You sent the Lord Jesus, through the nation of Israel, to be our Saviour and Lord. Thank You that You are already my shield and refuge, by grace through faith, and thank You that I have Christ as my food and drink, and the Rock of my salvation. Thank You that nothing can stop Your plans and purposes from being fulfilled, for both Your people, Israel, and for the Church, which is Christ's Body. Thank You in Jesus' name, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, thank You for the truths that I can learn from Your dealings with Your people, Israel. Thank You that Jesus is the King of Righteousness, and that the day is coming when You will put all wrongs to right - when You return in power and great glory to set up Your kingdom on earth. May I look up and lift up my head, knowing that the day of my redemption draws nigh. May the peace of Christ guard our hearts, knowing that You have already gained the victory over sin and death for all who believe in the name Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, in Whose name I pray, AMEN.
Loving Father I want to live my life in humble service to You, but I also want to entrust my life and the lives of those that I love into Your hands, especially in times of oppression and disappointments, knowing that You see the whole perspective and that all is working towards Your final, perfect plans and purposes. May Your will be done in my life and in my death, in Jesus name I pray, AMEN.
Loving Lord, I just want to lift up my dear friend to You, who has been such a comfort and strength to me for so many years, but who has at last been admitted to a hospice where she is to pass her final few weeks of life in dignity and respect, as her life drains from her. Lord, I know that I am going to miss her so much.
Be with her Lord, every moment of the day and night. Thank You Father, that she is to be looked after in such a caring and understanding environment. Be with the staff who are to attend her as her life flows from her and Lord, I pray that she would be very aware of Your very presence with her, every moment of the day.
Lord, I know that she is ready and longing to meet You face to face, and I ask that You would keep her free from the pain and suffering that so often stalks the advancement of death. But praise God that the grave has lost its terrible sting and death has lost its victory, through the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. Praise Your holy name!
Lord, I know that I am going to miss my dear friend, but my sadness has such a wonderful tinge of hope and joy, for I know that soon we will all be together in Your company, where we will be free from all sickness and sadness, and You will wipe away every tear from our eyes. Thank You Lord, in Jesus' name,
Heavenly Father, thank You for the many prophets who proclaimed the coming of the Saviour, and thank You that by grace through faith I have believed their testimony and become part of the one new man in Christ. Help me to be a voice calling out in this wilderness of sin, proclaiming God's message of reconciliation to those that need a Saviour. Help me testify of the truth of God's Word - that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners through His sacrificial death and glorious resurrection - and that by faith in His name, lost sinners may be forgiven of their sin and declared righteous - to the glory of God. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, what an amazing plan of redemption that God the Son should set aside His eternal, heavenly glory, and be born into His own creation so that His sinless lifeblood which pulsed through His human veins, could be shed as the full and final payment for the sin of the whole world. Thank You that His glory was revealed at His first coming, and that by faith in His sacrificial death and glorious Resurrection, I have His Holy Spirit indwelling my body. Praise Your holy name that although He was rejected as Your anointed King at His first advent, the day is coming when, as Prince of Peace, He will return to earth to be crowed as King of Israel and Lord of the whole earth. Thank You that a day is coming when Israel will recognise the Lord Jesus as their King, when He returns in power and great glory to set up His eternal kingdom. In Jesus' name, AMEN.
Loving Father, thank You for Your Living Word and Your Written Word. I pray I would love Your Word more every day, and that I would understand the blessing of hiding Your Word in my heart. Thank You for Your everlasting grace and mercy toward foolish, frail humanity, and thank You that Your Word stands forever. In Jesus’ name, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word and the truth it contains. May I read, mark, learn and inwardly digest all that You would teach me and may I grow in grace and in a knowledge of You so that I may not be ashamed when I stand before Your throne, in Jesus name I pray, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, thank You for the amazing writings of the prophet Isaiah and the beautiful truths that He reveals about the Lord Jesus Christ, the Good Shepherd of the sheep Who gave His life as the ransom price for the sin of the world. I praise You for Your magnificent creation and for the salvation of my soul. May I never cease to wonder at Your might, majesty, dominion, and power, and praise You for Christ's sacrificial offering on the Cross and glorious Resurrection from the dead. Thank You that it is simply by faith in Him that we have become Your children. I pray for the people of Israel that many would come to faith in Christ, and I look forward to that future day when Israel as a nation will be restored. Thank You in Jesus' name, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, thank You that You, the everlasting God, the eternal Creator, cares for me, Your child. Let me never wander into foolish pride, thinking I know everything about You, for Your ways are unsearchable. When I am weary, please bring to my remembrance that in You is my hope and strength and that You do not grow weary. Praise Your holy name! In Jesus' name, AMEN.
Heavenly Father we want to bring before You the little new-born lives that are having to go through invasive and often complicated surgery so early in their little lives. Be near to each baby that is facing surgery today and we pray that You would guide the hands of the surgeons and other staff that are involved with the surgery, and provide them with the wisdom and skill to perform the surgery without complications.
We also lift up the parents and wider families of tiny babies that are facing surgery today and pray that Your perfect peace would guard their hearts and minds as they face the difficult task of seeing their precious baby being prepared for surger, having to hand them over and wait for the duration of the operation.
Lord, into Your hands we place these parents and babies. In Jesus' name,
Loving Father I know that my strength can only be found in Christ. Help me I pray, to trust implicitly in the power that I can only receive from my Lord, Christ Jesus. I pray that I may truly rise above all the difficulties of life and run with patient endurance the race that is set before me, looking unto Jesus, Who is my only source of strength and my only means of refreshment. In His name I pray, AMEN.
Loving Father, I know that there are many times that fear has replaced faith in my heart, yet why should I fear when You have told me so many times to fear not? Thank You for Your promise to be with me always, to strengthen me, to be with me and to uphold me with Your righteous right hand, for which I thank You and bless Your holy name. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, thank You for sending the Lord Jesus to be our good, gracious, and gentle Redeemer Who is coming back to bring justice and to judge in righteousness. Thank You that He walked this earth before us and understands our weaknesses, our difficulties, and our disappointments. Thank You that He will not crush a broken reed or snuff out a flickering wick, but has come to heal the broken-hearted and provide the sufficient strength we all need as we journey through life, for His name's sake. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, I delight to lift up my voice in praise to You and to sing unto the Lord a new song, for You have forgiven me and seated me together with the Lord Jesus Christ in heavenly places. I lift up my voice in joyful praise and everlasting thanksgiving for Who You are and all Your many blessings. Praise You, Lord, AMEN.
Loving Shepherd of the sheep, thank You for Your gracious promises, not only to Israel, but to Your new creation in Christ. Thank You that You have redeemed me, called me by name, and I am now Yours, by grace through faith. I love You Lord. In Jesus' name, AMEN.
Loving Lord, as I face the storms and flames of life that appear to be so overwhelming, may I remember Your Word of truth. Help me to recall Who You are and what You have promised to all Your children. Help me to secure my hope in You. Thank You that You have promised to be with me in all the scenes and circumstances of life, for You are the all-powerful, all-knowing, all-gracious God Who loves me with an everlasting love. Praise Your holy name. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your goodness and faithfulness to Your people Israel who for so long have been a nation living in unbelief and in rebellion to the truth of the gospel. Thank You for Your long-suffering mercy and the assurance that they will one day fulfil the work that You have called them to do - to be Your witnesses to a world that is lost in sin and to know and believe that You are the Lord. Thank You that in Your grace You called out of the Gentiles a people for Your name, to tell forth the good news of the gospel of grace until the day when Israel proclaims the gospel of the kingdom and acknowledges Jesus as their Messiah and Lord, in Whose name I pray, AMEN.
What a wonderful God You are. Your grace, wisdom, love, and patience toward me, causes me to rejoice greatly. There is nothing to commend me to You, and yet You have called me and chosen me, saved me and fashioned me to be Your witness to this generation, and in the world to come, life everlasting. Thank You for Your gracious character and redeeming love. May I sing forth Your praise, not only with my lips but in my life, forever and ever. In Jesus’ name I pray, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your faithful promises to Your people Israel, thank You for Your faithful promises to the Church, and thank You for Your faithful promises to me. Thank You, Father, that Your wrath against my sin was poured out on the Lord Jesus in my stead, and that in Him my sins are not longer remembered. Praise Your holy name, AMEN.
Dear Lord, You have poured water on a dry and thirsty land. You have poured out rivers of living water into my heart and streams in the desert of my soul, and I praise and bless Your holy name.
Loving Lord, my country has forgotten You and has turned her back on You, Who are the only source of blessings. We have sown the bitter winds of wrath and are beginning to reap the whirlwind, for we have turned aside from the truth of the gospel and have tried to drink the brackish waters in the broken cisterns of our lives.
Look down in pity on my country, and may Your eyes search to and fro and seek out those that know and love the truth. And Father in Your grace and pity, pour out blessings on our land and on those that love You, for the sake of Your only beloved Son, who died to rescue us all.
Bless my land and bless my people and bless me I pray, in Jesus name,
Heavenly Father, I praise You for the faithfulness you showed to Your people, Israel. Thank You that you are the same yesterday, today, and forever. You are the first and the last, the Alpha and the Omega. You alone are holy, and You alone are my God and my Saviour. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.
Dear Heavenly Father, what a joy the birth of a new little baby brings and we thank You for the safe delivery of this little life, and ask You to pour out Your special blessing upon them and the whole family.
We thank You for the gift of children and the joy that they bring into the lives of so many, and we offer You this new-born baby and entrust their little life into Your safe-keeping.
Guard and protect this little one, we pray. Enfold them in Your love and grace, and we ask that in Your grace and mercy, that the light of Your love would shine into their little life and that one day they would come to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. In Jesus' name we pray,
Heavenly Father, thank You that despite man's futility and foolishness, You have always made Yourself known to Your creation and pleaded with men to turn to You for salvation and the forgiveness of sins. As the Day of the Lord's fierce judgement draws ever closer, I pray that unsaved men and women will turn from their foolish ways and look to Jesus Who alone has the words of eternal life. Thank You that You are a righteous God and a long-suffering Saviour. Thank You that Jesus died for me and rose again, for the forgiveness of sins and life everlasting. In Jesus' name, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, thank You that Your invitation to turn to You for salvation remains open today, and that all who call on the name of the Lord will be saved. Thank You for the many that are turning from idol worship to the true and living God even today, but I pray that many more would turn to You and be saved by grace through faith in Christ. I ask this in Jesus' name, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, thank You that in spite of man's rebellion and sinfulness, You did not withhold Your offer of redemption and You made the way to receive Your offer clear to us, through the mouth of Your holy prophets. Thank You that the truth has gone out to the far corners of the earth, that Your offer of redemption will not be revoked nor Your righteous judgement withheld. While it is still the age of grace, I pray that many would come to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and that many souls would be plucked from eternal damnation, by grace through faith in Him. In His name I pray, AMEN.
Thank You, Father, for Your constant care and faithfulness throughout my life. Thank You that You will never leave me nor forsake me, even when I become old and forgetful. Praise Your holy name! AMEN.
Thank You, Father, that You are my Guide and Defender, my Rock and my Stay. Thank You, that You are the same today as You were when You led the children of Israel through their times of difficulties and oppression. Give me a teachable spirit, listening ears, and an attentive heart so that I may learn all that Your Holy Spirit desires to teach me. And continue to guide me I pray, in the way that is best for me. In Jesus' name, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your perfect plan of redemption and that by grace, You formed the Lord Jesus from the womb to be Israel's suffering Servant and eternal King. Thank You that You chose me to be part of the Body of Christ, so that in Him I might show forth the praises of Him Who has called me out of darkness into His marvellous light. Praise His holy name, AMEN.
Precious Lord and Heavenly Father, praise Your wonderful goodness and Your gracious compassion. What comfort I have in the promise that You will never forget me. Your promises of love are new every morning; great is Thy faithfulness. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word of truth and the many lessons that I can learn from its inspired pages. I pray that I may grow in grace and in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Rock of my salvation Who gave His life for me so that I can live for Him. I pray that I may not be influenced by the philosophies of this world or by the apostasy that is creeping through much of the Church today. Help me to look to Jesus and pursue after righteousness in His strength. In His name I pray, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, how I love You and bless Your wonderful name. Thank You that the Holy Spirit is my indwelling Helper and Comfort Who has promised to be with me always. Keep me, I pray, under Your wings of precious comfort so that I may be a comfort to others in their time of need, for I know that those who would seek to harm me will fade as the grass of the field, but the Word of the Lord endures forever. Praise Your holy name! AMEN.
Heavenly Father, how I bless Your holy name for all Your goodness and graciousness toward all Your children. Thank You that Jesus became the sin-sacrifice and died for me, and not for me only, but for all who trust in His holy name. Thank You that He was raised from the dead as proof of His pre-eminence among men, and highly exulted to the throne of God. Thank You that He is coming back soon as King of Israel, Prince of peace, and Judge of the whole world. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, the image of Christ in His humiliation as a Man Who had no exciting outward appearance or desirable human attributes to commend Him to the children of men for whom He died, stands in such stark contrast with His divine nature, His holy character, His sinless life, and the sacrificial offering of Himself. As I see Jesus as He truly is, I am awestruck by His amazing grace and eternal beauty. My beautiful Saviour, Jesus You are. I give You all my praise and glory, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, when I consider the enormous weight of my sin and the eternal consequences of all my transgressions, I stand amazed and in awe that You should love me so much that You gave Your only begotten Son to bear all my grief and carry all my sorrow. I am staggered to realise that in order for me to be redeemed and returned into fellowship with the Father, the Lord Jesus Christ was smitten of God and afflicted, out of love for me. To Him be all honour and glory, forever and ever, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, I praise and thank You that Christ was lifted up to die on the Cross to pay the price for my sin. I am as guilty of His death on the Cross as those that falsely accused Him and nailed Him there to die. I am equally to blame, and yet I praise and thank You that through faith in His sacrificial death and glorious Resurrection, I have been redeemed and forgiven of my sin. I praise You that His finished work was sufficient. Hallelujah! What a Saviour! Praise His holy name, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, I know that my times are in Your hands and I also believe that You care about everything in my life. In Your sovereignty, You are not surprised by anything that happens to any of Your children. I believe that You make all things work together for the good of us that love You. I believe that You care for each one of us with a perfect and holy love.
I come to You today because my health has been deteriorating with some ailment that has not been diagnosed. I am not sure what to do, but I know that You understand everything about me. I believe that You know exactly what I need to bring me back to full health and strength and I am trusting You in this time of illness in my life.
Please God, I ask for Your healing touch on my life, and pray that You would bring to my attention the treatment that is best suited for my condition. Please direct me in the way that I should go at this difficult time in my life. Thank You, Father, in Jesus' name I pray,
Loving Lord, I come to You to place the once great nation of United States of America at Your feet, knowing that our great country and it's constitution was made for a moral and religious people and is wholly inadequate for any other form of government, and yet we have strayed so far from the principles and practices of our great founders, who drew up our constitution based on Your Word.
But Lord, although this was once the land of the brave and the home of the free, sadly there is so much that is wrong with our country that I fear for its future. Lord, as a people we have walked away from You and discredited Your holy name by the way that we have conducted ourselves over the past few years and there is no health in our land.
Look down in pity on our people and our land, and protect us from those that seem determined on destroying our nation. Send Your Spirit I pray, through the land of America, and touch the hearts of all those that are called by Your name to plead on behalf our people. Convict those that are damaging our infrastructure and as a nation may we turn away from our wicked ways and return You to Your rightful position, in integrity and truth.
I ask this in Jesus' name,
Heavenly Father, thank You that Christ became the sacrificial Lamb on my account. I stand in awe that the eternal Son of God was born as the sinless Son of Man so that He could be my Kinsman-Redeemer. Thank You that Jesus took the punishment that I deserved and did not open His mouth to proclaim His innocence, but endured the Cross on my behalf. To Him be all praise and glory, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, You are a loving and wonderfully gracious God, and I thank You and love You for putting the Lord Jesus to grief for my sake and for all who trust in His name. Forgive those that misunderstand the depth of Your love for each of us individually and collectively, knowing that without Christ as our guilt offering, we could not have been redeemed to become Your children. Praise Your name forever and ever. In Jesus' name, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, what a great privilege it is to be Your child and to be called by Your name. Thank You that You prove to be such a good and gracious God, Who is very patient and of great goodness. Thank You for the long-suffering mercy You showed to Your people Israel despite their errant ways, and what a confidence I have in You, that Your promises to the Church will similarly never fail. Thank You that You Who started a good work in me will continue it until the day of Christ Jesus, in Whose name I pray, AMEN.
Thank You, Father, that there is nothing in the physical or spiritual realm that can triumph over me, that I am secure in Christ, and every accusation of the enemy will be condemned. Help me never to fear those that seek to harm me in word or in deed, but help me to be a faithful witness of Your steadfast grace in the place where You have put me. In Christ’s name, I pray, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, thank You that the precious invitation that was open to Israel to come and drink of the waters of life freely and without cost is still open to thirsty souls in this Church dispensation. Thank You that this promise continues to be open to whosoever will believe on the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation, both Jew and Gentile. Thank You that I have been baptised into the body of Christ by the Holy Spirit of God and that in Him I have free access to the Bread of Life and can drink deeply of the Living Water. Thank You that salvation is given freely to whosoever will COME. Thank You in Jesus' name, AMEN.
Loving Heavenly Father, forgive my pride in trying to second-guess what You are doing, and even trying to tell You at times what is best for my life. Help me to remember that You have a perfect plan and purpose for all Your children. Keep me broken at the Cross, and may Your will be done in my life. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word. Thank You that the Scriptures will not return to You void, but will accomplish all that You have determined. Thank You for Your plan of salvation and the simplicity of trusting in Jesus for the forgiveness of sin and life everlasting. Stir up the faith of Christians everywhere, and kindle afresh the gifts in us, knowing that the time is short. Renew our desire to share the gospel with the lost and bring many to faith in Christ in these closing days of the Church age. This I ask in Jesus' name and for His dear name's sake, AMEN.
Loving Father, I never stop being amazed that You Who, from everlasting to everlasting, has stooped to save and comfort me and to dwell within my heart by faith. Keep me low at the Cross and humble before you, develop in me a lowly and contrite heart and revive my spirit within me, I pray. I praise You for Your goodness and grace, Your mercy and love, and pray that today I may glorify You in my body, in word and in deed. In Jesus' name, AMEN.
Loving Lord, I come to You and confess my sin of abortion, and ask that Your healing grace would touch my heart today. The remembrance of it is eating me inside and I need Your healing grace and loving forgiveness.
I cast this great burden onto You, knowing that You have promised to heal those that are broken-hearted and to bind up the inner wounds of those that are hurting.
I know that the consequences of our wrong choices can bring much pain, but I also know that You are a God Who has promised to forgive and heal all who come to You with a contrite heart and that You will remember our sins no more.
Forgive me Lord, heal my life. Create in me a clean heart I pray, and renew a right spirit within me. This I ask in Jesus' name,
Heavenly Father, Your promises are very precious and are new every morning - great is Your faithfulness. Thank You that You lead and guide me at all times and that You are the only refreshment my soul needs. As I face today, I pray that new showers of Your sufficient grace will flood my weary soul so that rivers of Your living waters may flow through me to others who are in need of Your grace. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, what a comfort to know that the wall of separation between God and man has been broken down, through faith in Christ. I pray that I would walk in spirit and truth and confess any post-salvation sins quickly, so I may return into fellowship with You. Help me to more fully understand how abominable sin is, to eschew evil, and live holy in Your sight. Thank You that despite Israel's unfaithfulness, You remain faithful to them. Open their eyes to see the truth, soften their hearts, and bring many to faith in Christ. And thank You for being my good and gracious God. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, my understanding is so limited of all You are and the untold mysteries that surround the triune Godhead and the incarnate Word of God. Yet You loved me so much that You came in the Person of the Lord Jesus Christ to die for my sins so that I might receive the good tidings of great joy which have been given to all people; the joyful news that by grace through faith in Him, I have been forgiven of my sins. Thank You that the Holy Spirit indwells me, comforting me and binding up my broken and bleeding heart. Thank You that in Christ, I have been set free from the bondage to sin, from the curse of the Law, and from enslavement by Satan. Praise You, Lord! AMEN.
Dear Lord Jesus, thank You for Your many gifts of pardon, peace, and purity, of faith, hope, and love. But above all, I bless and thank You, in Jesus' name, for the greatest of all gifts in the person of Your dearly beloved Son, Who died to redeem me with His precious blood and Who lives forever within my heart. AMEN.
Heavenly Father, what a gracious God You are, for Your mercies are new every morning and Your promises last from one generation to another. Thank You that You are a God Who forgives the sins of all who call on the name of the Lord Jesus for salvation. To Him be all praise and glory, forever and ever, AMEN.
Father God, thank You that You have promised to be with me no matter what difficult circumstances invade my life. I lift up my many brothers and sisters in Christ who are facing increasingly hard times. We are all watching and waiting for the soon return of our Lord Jesus Christ and join with the Spirit in praying, "Come Lord Jesus." In these increasingly difficult times, I ask for Your strength and courage to face whatever lies ahead, knowing that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us... and that nothing can separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus. AMEN.
Loving Father, I come to You in humility of heart and ask that You make and mould me into a vessel that is pleasing to You, for Your praise and glory. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, thank You for the example of Israel's faithful little remnant who continued to trust You in spite of all the suffering and pain they endured. Keep me from being discouraged by all that is happening in my life and the wider world, and may I continue to trust You in all things - knowing that Your plans and purposes are perfect and that Your promises are all 'yes' and 'amen' in Christ Jesus our Lord, in Whose name I pray, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, what a comfort and joy to me that You know and understand the deepest longings of my heart. Thank You that You know the end before the beginning, and hear and answer my prayers before the request forms in my heart or crosses my lips. Thank You for beautifying my requests and providing the answer that is best for me. Teach me to pray into Your will for my life, and align my heart’s desires to Your perfect will. This I ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.
Dear Lord Jesus, it is time for us to get to bed. We thank You that You are with us all the time and throughout the hours of darkness. Thank You, that You never leave us and that You have promised to be with us throughout the night.
Give us all a good night rest we pray, and help us not to allow our thoughts to wander aimlessly through our minds so as to keep us awake, but may we settle down securely, knowing that sleep is a precious gift from You, so that we may be ready to do all the things that You have prepared for us to do tomorrow.
Forgive us for the wrong things we have done today, and thank You that Your love for us never fails and that Your mercies are new every morning. Thank You, that You died on the cross to pay the price us from our sins and save us, so that we can live together with You in heaven..
Thank You, that nothing can separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Help us all to rest securely in You, in the knowledge that we are Your children and You are our gracious God. This we ask in Jesus' name,
