Praying through Revelation 1:1

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word and that You have told us what will happen before it happens so that we will believe. May I read, mark, and learn from all You have told me in the book of Revelation and may I be guided by the Holy Spirit into all truth. But above all, as I read this book, I pray that Jesus would be revealed to me, more and more, and I would know Him more clearly, love Him more dearly, and follow Him more nearly, all the days of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.

“The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:”

Praying through Revelation 1:3

Heavenly Father, it is amazing to realise that only one book of the Bible has a unique blessing specifically attached to it, as this verse tells us. I pray that many would turn to this final book of the Bible and read it, hear the words of this prophecy, and keep the things written in this book… and receive the blessing exclusively reserved for those who read, hear, and heed the words of Revelation. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.

“Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.”

Thank You that You are the eternal God, from everlasting to everlasting. Help me to take to heart all the truths that are contained in Your Word and apply them in my life, to Your praise and glory. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.

Praying through Revelation 1:5

Heavenly Father, I stand amazed and kneel in awe as I consider Jesus, Your only begotten Son, and the Firstborn from the dead. Thank You that His name is Faithful and True, and that He washed me clean in His cleansing blood and loves me with an everlasting love. Thank You that He is 'The Faithful Witness' and 'the Firstborn from the dead'. Thank You that Jesus is the Ruler of the kings of the earth, and turns them whichever way He chooses. Praise Your name for all You are, and all You have done in my life. Give me I pray, a deeper understanding of this amazing love you have for all Your children. Use me today and in the days ahead, in Your service, and for Your praise and glory, until Jesus returns in the clouds for His Church. It is in His name I pray, AMEN.

Heavenly Father, I am not worthy to gather up the crumbs under Your table and yet you have chosen me to be part of Your heavenly kingdom. Thank You that I am in Christ and have become part of His Body, which is the Church. Thank You that, together with all believers, I have been sanctified unto God, chosen to become a royal priesthood, a holy nation, and a people for His own possession. Lord, I offer my body, my life, myself, my all, to be a living sacrifice to You. May I live to Your praise and glory from this day forward. In Jesus' name, AMEN.

Praying through Revelation 1:7

Heavenly Father, I praise and thank You for Your wonderful plan of redemption. Thank You that I have been saved by grace through faith in Christ and thank You that the wrath of God was poured out on Christ in my stead. I know that a terrible time of trouble is coming on the whole earth when Your righteous wrath will be poured out on a God-hating, Christ-rejecting, sinful world, but I pray that many would come to faith in Jesus during that time of great distress. Thank You that the Millennial reign of Christ is coming soon, when the earth shall be filled with the glory of God as the waters cover the sea. AMEN.

“Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.”

Loving Father, thank You for sending the Lord Jesus to be Son of Man so that I can become a child of God. Thank You that He is returning soon to take me to be with Himself. All glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, Who was in the beginning, is now - and ever shall be, world without end, AMEN.

Heavenly Father, thank You for this amazing revelation of Jesus Christ and for opening our understanding that the Suffering Servant Who died for our sin and rose again on the third day, is the incarnate, all powerful God in Whom are the words of eternal life. Thank You that He took the punishment for my sin and that the same, mighty, resurrected God and Saviour is coming again to judge the world in righteousness. Thank You that those who are in Christ have nothing to fear, for perfect love casts out fear. Help me to live my life in a manner that is worthy of Him, to Whom be all honour and glory, world without end, AMEN.

Heavenly Father, thank You for the revelation of Jesus Christ which You gave to your servant John to show us all that must come to pass in the not too distant future. Thank You that Christ took the terrible punishment for my sin and that I have been clothed in His righteousness, by faith in His death and Resurrection. May I eschew every kind of evil, hold fast to His Word of truth, and listen carefully to all that the Holy Spirit says to the churches, for Your greater honour and glory. This I ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.

Praying through Revelation 1:18

Heavenly Father, what a glorious truth that Jesus is the living One, the first to rise from the dead. Thank You that You sent Your beloved Son to be born in human flesh and to die on the Cross to pay the price for my sin so that I may be forgiven of my sin. I praise You that He rose again from the dead, is alive forevermore, and has the keys of death and hell. I praise and thank You that because He is alive, I too will rise from the grave imperishable and live with You through all eternity. Praise Your holy name. Praise the name of Jesus. Hallelujah! AMEN.

I pray that my devotion for You will not grow cold, but that in all things I will become more and more thrilled with the wonders of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Saviour. May my love for You start to reflect, in some small way, the love that You have shown to me. And thank You for the many privileges that are mine in Christ, in Whose name I pray, AMEN.

Praying through Revelation 2:10

Thank You, Father, for the wonderful encouragement we receive from the saints in Smyrna. I pray that I may be faithful to the point of death and receive that promised, crown of life. Thank You, that no matter how weak we may be and how intense the fight we face, none of Your children need fear the attacks of the enemy, for You are with us in every eventuality of life. Thank You, that I know Jesus as my Lord and Saviour and have an assurance of the resurrection of the dead. I pray that I may be faithful in the trials that lay ahead and be worthy to fellowship in His suffering, for His praise and glory. Thank You, that Christ died for me and rose again, so that I may live with Him eternally. In His name I pray, AMEN.

“Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.”

Praying through Revelation 2:11

Heavenly Father, how I praise and thank You that I am an overcomer in Christ and have been given eternal life by grace through faith in Him. Thank You that I will not be hurt by the second death, because I am covered in His righteousness. I pray that in Your strength, I may overcome any difficulties, dangers, persecution, and pain I may face, knowing that His grace is sufficient - and I pray that I may be faithful to the point of death, so as to win the Crown-of-Life for Your honour and glory. This I ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.

Praying through Revelation 2:25

Heavenly Father, thank You for the letters to the seven Churches in the book of Revelation and for the encouragement and warnings we gain from reading them and putting them into practice. I pray I would not be influenced by any enticing teacher of a false doctrine, and I ask for discernment to recognise and reject any unscriptural thing that tries to seep into the Body of Christ. Expose those who are deliberately enticing Your people into a trap, through a spirit of control or an over-zealous lust for the dark spirituality that comes from the evil one. Guard my heart and nourish my soul, I pray, and may I hold fast to the truth of the gospel I love until Jesus comes. In His lovely name I pray, AMEN.

“But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.”

Praying through Revelation 2:26

Holy and Heavenly Father, thank You for giving us the true gospel in Your Word. I pray for those who are enslaved to the false doctrines of Thyatira - with their secret teachings, legalist rites, priestly absolution, suffocating indulgencies, and other unbiblical practices. Expose those that teach falsely and open the eyes of those that have been subjected to their suffocating effects. I pray that as we wait for Christ's any-day return, I will hold fast to the faith, until His appearing. In His name I pray, AMEN.

“And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:”

Praying through Revelation 2:29

Heavenly Father, thank You for the wonderful Word of God that contains a such wealth of instruction for all Your children and particularly, I praise and thank You for the seven amazing letters that the Lord Jesus wrote to the Church. Open the eyes of my heart, I pray, and unblock anything that hinders me from hearing all that the Spirit has to say to the churches - for I want to be a doer of the Word and not a hearer only. Give me a teachable spirit, I pray, and saturate my heart with the truth of the glorious gospel of God. Help me to study these seven wonderful letters in the book of Revelation, take them to heart, and practice them diligently in my life. This I ask in Jesus’ name, AMEN.

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your glorious grace which is extended to me and all that have strayed from Your paths of righteousness. Thank You for these warnings to get my life back into a right relationship with You. I repent of all my back-sliding and disinterest in what is so important, which is being in fellowship with You. I pray that from today forward, I may only do those things that are pleasing in Your sight. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.

Praying through Revelation 3:4

Heavenly Father, thank You for the lessons of Sardis and the need to keep our garments pure and undefiled, and to walk in the light as He is in the light. Thank You that by grace through faith I have been declared worthy, not because of my own righteousness, but by faith in the finished work of Christ on Calvary for the redemption of my soul. I pray that I may grow in grace and walk in spirit and truth, and may I press on for the high call of God in my life and not compromise my faith through dead works. This I ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.

“Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.”

Praying through Revelation 3:5

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your many precious promises and thank You also, for the serious warning that those that live in carnality will suffer loss, when they come into Your presence. Lord, I do not want to compromise my faith and waste my Christian life by living in carnality. I desire to do Your will for Your greater praise and glory. Help me to stay alert, remain obedient to Your Word, die to the desires of the flesh, and live my life for Christ. Thank You that as Your child I am already an overcomer, by faith, and that my name is written in the Lamb's book of life and can never be erased. However, Lord, I want to carry out the works of righteousness that You have prepared for me to do in the power of the Holy Spirit, and to hear You say, "well done good and faithful servant" in the presence of God the Father and His holy angels. Keep me pure in word, in spirit, and in deed unto my life's end. This I ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.

“He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.”

Praying through Revelation 3:12

Heavenly Father, what an amazing privilege to be identified with Christ as a member of His Body and to have the seal of the indwelling Holy Spirit as a guarantee that we will be permanently established as pillars in the Temple of God, to Your praise and glory. Thank You that as Your children, we have Christ's name engraved upon us forever, and that nothing in heaven above nor the earth beneath, can separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus, our Lord, in Whose name I pray, AMEN.

“Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.”

Praying through Revelation 3:15

Heavenly Father, thank You that I have the opportunity to learn a spiritual lesson on how to live godly in Christ Jesus, through the failure of these people at Laodicea. I am sorry for any areas of my life that I have allowed to become lukewarm to You and ask that I would live a life that is on fire for the Lord. I pray that I would keep the door of my heart ever open to You and that my communion with You would overflow into blessings for those I come into contact. I pray that my life may become a light in a darkened world and that my word may be witness to the goodness and grace of God to all with whom I come in contact, for Your praise and glory. Heavenly Father, I know that my heart is not as fervently in love with you as it should be. Thank You for Your grace and long-suffering patience with me. I pray that I would open the door of my heart to Jesus to come and fellowship with me, for in Him is fullness of joy. In Jesus' name, AMEN.

Praying through Revelation 4:1

Heavenly Father, thank You for the book of Revelation and for the greater insight and understanding it gives into the Person and work of the Lord Jesus. As John is taken up into heaven and shown the things which must happen next, I am reminded of that glorious day when Jesus will come in the clouds to rapture His Church to heaven. How wonderful it would be to be part of that generation that do not see death but are changed in the twinkling of an eye. Come quickly, Lord Jesus! AMEN.

Holy Lord, there is none like You. You alone are worthy of all glory and praise. Praying through Revelation 5:1

Heavenly Father, thank You for sending Your Son to come to earth as the sinless Son of Man, the Lamb of God Who takes away the sin of the world. Only He was good enough to pay the price for my sin and the sin of the whole world, through the shedding of His life-blood on Calvary's Cross. Only He is worthy to open the seven-sealed scroll so that Your justified judgement against sin can be poured out on the God-hating, Christ-rejecting, fallen race that refuses to receive Your free gift of salvation. Thank You that Jesus is Lord of heaven and earth Who will judge the world in righteousness and that all His enemies will one day be placed under His feet. In Jesus' name, AMEN.

Heavenly Father, thank You that You know the end from the beginning and have set out Your plans and purposes for the salvation of lost sinners and the establishment of Christ's eternal kingdom on earth, in Your Word of truth. Thank You for sending Jesus to be the propitiation for our sin. Thank You that Jesus was willing to come to earth and live and die as a Man so that I might be saved by grace through faith in His sacrificial work at Calvary and His glorious Resurrection, where He broke the power of Satan, sin, death, and hell, and will bring in the kingdom age following that prophesied time of Jacob’s Trouble. Praying through Revelation 6:1

Heavenly Father, thank You for opening up my understanding of the 70th week of Daniel and for giving us the wonderful Revelation of Jesus Christ, the slain Lamb of God, Who is worthy to break the seven seals and bring to completion the evil rule of Satan. Thank You that the Lord Jesus is the righteous Judge of the earth, as well as the coming King of kings and our heavenly High Priest. As we draw closer to the day when Your kingdom comes and Your will is carried out on earth, I pray that many more would come to faith in Jesus as Messiah and Lord. This I ask in His precious name, AMEN.

Heavenly Father, as I consider the shocking consequences of the unsaved who will have to face the deception of the first horseman, the destruction of the rider on the red horse, and the many terrible events that will take place in this coming day of judgement, I pray that many would be brought to faith in Christ, before it is too late. Use me I pray, to spread the truth of the glorious Gospel of Christ with those with whom I come in contact, and unleash in the hearts of all Your children, an urgency to spread the good news to lost souls, and tell the truth to unsaved men and women. Dear Lord, and heavenly Father, thank You that Jesus has won the victory over sin and Satan and that the terrible evil that will be perpetrated by the four horsemen of Revelation will turn the hearts of many to repent of their sin and call on the name of the Lord for salvation. Thank You that we live in this dispensation of grace and are not appointed to wrath. But Father, there are many unsaved in the world today, who need to know Jesus as Saviour. We pray, that in Your goodness and grace, You would bring more souls into His kingdom, before the Church is removed, the seven-sealed scroll begins to be opened, and the world is judged in righteousness, by the Man Christ Jesus - in Whose name I pray, AMEN.

“And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.”

Praying through Revelation 6:6

Loving Heavenly Father, as I consider the fast-approaching time of world-wide judgement, when deception, war, famine, death, and great tribulation will engulf the world in the near future, I pray that You would have mercy on many souls that are yet unsaved. I pray that the gospel would be preached in the corner-shops, the streets, people's work, and on the internet, so that many would come to faith during this Church-age of grace, and I pray that a multitude without number would be saved from the Great Tribulation that is yet to come. This I pray in Jesus' name and for His greater glory, AMEN.

“And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.”

Praying through Revelation 6:8

Heavenly Father, as the time for the appearance of the four horsemen of the Apocalypse draws ever closer, be merciful to those that are dead in their sins, at enmity with God, and are facing the great and terrible Day of the Lord... and all that rejection of Christ's redemptive work on the Cross entails. Thank You, Lord, that I have been saved by grace, through faith in Him, and I pray that You would use me to alert many who will have to endure the coming time of Great Tribulation if they do not repent of their sin by turning to Christ for forgiveness. Look down in pity on those that are being deceived by Satan and open their eyes to the truth of the gospel of grace - before it is too late. This I pray in Jesus' name, AMEN.

“And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.”

Praying through Revelation 6:17

Heavenly Father, what a chilling reminder that there will come a day, yet future, where the wrath of the Lamb will be poured out on a Christ rejecting, sinful world. Thank You that in Your loving kindness and great mercy, You have not destined us for wrath, and all those who trust in Jesus in this Church Age will be taken into heaven in that event we call the Rapture of the Church before Your wrath is poured out in the 7 year Tribulation period. May I share the gospel of salvation with those in my life and may many more be saved before it is too late. In Jesus’ name, AMEN.

“For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?”

Praying through Revelation 7:4

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your protection and mercy throughout the ages for those called by Your name. Lord, there has been much confusion and deception involving the identity of these 144 thousand people, sealed by You in the 7 year Tribulation period. May I be led by the Holy Spirit into all truth as I read about these people from the 12 tribes of Israel, and not be led astray when studying these things. In Jesus' name, AMEN.

“And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.”

Praying through Revelation 7:9

Heavenly Father, thank You for telling us the end from the beginning. Thank You that by grace through faith, I am part of the Body of Christ and have been saved from the wrath to come in the 7 year Tribulation period. I praise Your name and thank You that Israel will finally fulfil their Covenant promise to be a light to the Gentiles and to proclaim the gospel of the Kingdom throughout the world. Thank You that by Your grace, a multitude without number will be saved out of the wrath to come. Thank You, in Jesus' name, AMEN.

“After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;”

Praying through Revelation 7:17

Heavenly Father, how I praise and thank You that Your mercies are new every morning, and it is not Your will that any should perish, but that all should come to faith in Christ Jesus our Lord. Thank You for all who have become part of Christ's Body, by faith in Him, and I praise You that You are ready and willing to save all in the coming Great Tribulation who place trust in Christ as their God and Saviour. Thank You that Jesus is the good Shepherd of the sheep and the Lamb of God, Who was slain from the foundation of the world to save us from our sin. Thank You that Jesus is the water of life, the rock of our salvation, and the Lamb in the midst of the throne, and I praise Your holy name that the day is coming when He will wipe away all tears from the eyes of all who have placed their trust in Him. Thank You in Jesus' name, AMEN.

“For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.”

Praying through Revelation 8:4

Heavenly Father, how I praise and thank You that I have been called to pray without ceasing in the knowledge that You hear and answer the prayers and petitions of all Your people. It is wonderful to think that my prayers are like sweet incense to You, ascending up to Your throne. May I never forget what a precious blessing it is to have full access to Your throne of grace where I can place my prayers at Your feet. Thank You, in Jesus' name, AMEN

“And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand.”

Praying through Revelation 8:6

Heavenly Father, as I read through the trumpet judgements and the terrible consequences they will bring, all I can do is fall on my knees and praise You for Your righteous judgement and beg for mercy for those left on earth at that time. May many realise Who You are during this time and come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, their Saviour and Redeemer. In Jesus' name, AMEN.

Praying through Revelation 10:4

Heavenly Father, thank You that You have given us Your holy Word and opened up for our learning all that You would have us to know and understand. Thank You that it is the glory of God to conceal a matter and the honour of kings to search out a matter. Help me to be diligent in studying Your Word as I read, mark, learn, and inwardly digest all that is contained within its sacred pages. Open up my understanding to all those passages which are hard to understand, but also keep me from seeking to look into the hidden mysteries that belong to God alone. This I ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.

“And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.”

Praying through Revelation 11:3

Heavenly Father, thank You that You have told us the end from the beginning and that evil will one day be fully and finally put away. Thank You for sending Jesus to be the propitiation for our sins, rescuing us from eternal damnation, and clothing us in His perfect righteousness. Thank You that sin, Satan, death, and hell, will one day be fully and finally thrown into the eternal lake of fire and Christ will put all things under His feet. May I be a faithful witness in the position where You have placed me and continue to work the works of God, during my sojourn on earth. Thank You that the indwelling Holy Spirit Who raised Jesus from the dead will empower Your two witnesses during the time of Jacob's Trouble. Thank You that Your same Holy Spirit currently indwells all believers, and that "Greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world." In Jesus' name, AMEN.

“And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.”

For America As A Nation Who Has Lost Its Way

Loving Lord, I come to You to place the once great nation of United States of America at Your feet, knowing that our great country and it's constitution was made for a moral and religious people and is wholly inadequate for any other form of government, and yet we have strayed so far from the principles and practices of our great founders, who drew up our constitution based on Your Word.

But Lord, although this was once the land of the brave and the home of the free, sadly there is so much that is wrong with our country that I fear for its future. Lord, as a people we have walked away from You and discredited Your holy name by the way that we have conducted ourselves over the past few years and there is no health in our land.

Look down in pity on our people and our land, and protect us from those that seem determined on destroying our nation. Send Your Spirit I pray, through the land of America, and touch the hearts of all those that are called by Your name to plead on behalf our people. Convict those that are damaging our infrastructure and as a nation may we turn away from our wicked ways and return You to Your rightful position, in integrity and truth.

I ask this in Jesus' name,

Amen.

“And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.”

Praying through Revelation 12:9

Heavenly Father, thank You for the amazing book of Revelation which explains the end from the beginning. Thank You for detailing Satan's final destination, when You throw him and his demons into the lake of fire for eternity. Satan knows his time on this earth is short and is prowling around like a lion seeking people to devour. Expose his works, I pray, and open the eyes of those who have been blinded by His deceit and deception. May many more be saved before this age is over and may Your name be glorified, not only in this age but in the age to come. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.

“And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”

Praying through Revelation 12:11

Heavenly Father, thank You for the salvation, strength, and security I have received from the Lord Jesus Christ, and for the victory He won for me through His blood. Thank You that through Him, I can overcome any obstacle in my life, to Your praise and glory. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.

Praying through Revelation 13:8

Loving Father, thank You for the simplicity of the gospel of grace and for dying for me, to pay the price for my sins. I pray that you will open the eyes of my understanding to the deeper truths contained in Your Word, and that I will come to know You more each day. I pray that the eyes of many, who have been deceived by Satan's lies, will come to saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, in Whose name I pray, AMEN.

Praying through Revelation 17:14

Heavenly Father, thank You for Jesus, the King of kings and Lord of lords. Thank You that I am one of His called and chosen ones, simply by trusting in Him for salvation. When I read of Satan and the armies of the world, trying to make war with the Lamb, I realise just how futile their efforts are and how easily Jesus overcomes them. Thank You that I am Yours, Creator of the world, Redeemer of the world. Thank You that You love me with a powerful, everlasting love. In Jesus' name, AMEN.

“These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.”

Praying through Revelation 19:8

Heavenly Father, thank You that I have been clothed in the righteousness of Christ by faith. Help me to carry out the work that You have prepared for me to do in Your strength and not in my own power. I pray that I may live a holy and sanctified life that honours You in thought word and deed, by giving up myself to Your service and doing only those things that are directed by You, for Your praise and glory. This I ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.

Praying through Revelation 19:13

Heavenly Father, thank You that Jesus is the Word made flesh. Thank You for this powerful description of Jesus as the conquering King of kings. I pray that Your Holy Spirit would convict the hearts of many who have not yet trusted in Christ for salvation, for it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of an angry God. Have mercy, Lord, and fulfil Your plans and purposes for Your own praise and glory. This I ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.

Heavenly Father, how I praise and thank You for Your plan of redemption and for the wonderful way that You tell us the beginning from the end. Thank You that Jesus is not only my Almighty, powerful King, but He is also my Saviour. What amazing love He has for me, to choose to die in my place so that I could be redeemed by His blood and rule and reign with Him in glory. To Him be all honour and glory, forever and ever, AMEN.

Praying through Revelation 20:1

Heavenly Father, thank You that You have told us the end from the beginning, and that the enemy of our souls has already been defeated by the blood of Christ at Calvary's Cross. Thank You that the full and final sentence of the dragon, the serpent of old who is the devil or Satan, has already been written, ahead of time, and after being bound in the bottomless pit for 1000 years, his final destination is the lake of fire that You prepared for the devil and his demons. Right now, Satan is still roaming the earth deceiving men. In the short time I have left on this earth, please give me the opportunity to share the good news of the gospel of grace with those that are being deceived and bring many more into glory. In Jesus' name, AMEN.

“And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.”

Praying through Revelation 20:4

Heavenly Father, thank You that after the Rapture of the Bride of Christ and during the Tribulation period, many more people will be saved. Thank You for these Tribulation saints and for their faithfulness unto death for You. Thank You that with the Bride, they will also reign with Christ for the thousand year Millennium. But Lord, how much better it is to be saved before the Rapture and escape the wrath to come. Use me to spread abroad the wonderful truth of salvation and the serious consequences that await those who reject Your offer of redemption. In Jesus' name, AMEN.

“And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.”

Praying through Revelation 20:6

Heavenly Father, it is a sober thought to realise that all who reject God's offer of salvation will take part in the second resurrection and have to face the Great White Throne Judgement and the second death. I pray that You would use me in the time that we have left to witness of the glorious gospel of the grace of God - that Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again, so that whosoever believes on Him would not perish but take part in the first resurrection and receive life everlasting. This I ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.

“Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.”

Praying through Revelation 20:11

Heavenly Father, Your goodness and grace toward the children of men is staggering, for we have all sinned and should all receive the wages of our sin, which is death. And yet by grace, Christ died for the sins of the whole world and took the punishment on our account. And anyone who trusts in Him will receive the gift of God which is eternal life. Thank You that by grace, I will not be standing before the Great White Judgement Throne of God. I pray for many more to come to a knowledge of the truth and a saving faith in Christ. In Jesus' name, AMEN.

Thanks be to God Who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Thanks be to God that whoever is born of God by faith in Jesus, overcomes the world. Praying through Revelation 21:8

Heavenly Father, thank You for the many warnings we receive of the importance of believing on the Lord Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sin and life everlasting. Thank You that by grace through faith in Christ, I will not be hurt by 'The Second Death'. Thank You that You will judge the world in righteousness. In Your wrath and judgement, I pray that You would be merciful, and during these days when salvation is still available to anyone who trusts in Jesus, I ask that many unbelievers would hear the good news of the gospel, be saved and escape from the wrath to come. In Jesus' name, AMEN.
