Prayer for Mark

Praying through Mark 1:1

Dear Lord, thank You for Your Word and the wonderful truth that it contains. Thank You that Jesus set aside His heavenly glory and took upon Himself the humble status of Servant of all so that He could identify with our humanity and pay the price for our sin - a price that we are unable to pay. I pray that I may follow in His footsteps and live in humble submission to Your Holy Spirit all the days of my life, and only do those things that I hear from You. This I ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.

Praying through Mark 1:8

Heavenly Father, thank You that Jesus died for me and that I am saved by Your grace alone, through faith in Him. Thank You that the moment I believed on Him, I was baptised into the Body of Christ, positioned in Him, and became a member of His mystical Body, the Church. Thank You for the opportunity to proclaim outwardly my spiritual birth and privileged position in Christ, by going through the waters of baptism as an open declaration of my change of heart and my trust in Him. Thank You that my old sin nature is chained to the Cross and I have received newness of life. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.

“I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost.”

Praying through Mark 1:9

Heavenly Father, thank You for Jesus. Thank You that He came to identify with sinners such as I, so that by faith in Him, I might be forgiven of my sins and clothed in His righteousness. Thank You that the Lord Jesus came to fulfil all righteousness and lifted the curse of death from all who would believe on His name. Thank You that He was obedient in all things, even to death on the Cross, and thank You for the written Word of God which proclaims the end from the beginning. Help me to understand and apply all that You would teach me. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.

“And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan.”

Praying through Mark 1:14

Heavenly Father, thank You for the wonderful way that Your truth is unfolded and Your Word is fulfilled in holy Scripture. Thank You for the lessons that we can learn from John the Baptist who faithfully fulfilled his calling, despite the cruel persecution he endured. Thank You for the example that Jesus gave us in those early years of His life and ministry, when He quietly waited until the appointed time to begin His work. Help me to follow their good example and be faithful to my calling, and give me the grace to wait for Your perfect timing in my life. This I ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.

Praying through Mark 1:15

Heavenly Father, thank You for the glorious gospel of Christ and that in Him, I have forgiveness of sins. Thank You for the Word of truth that explains the gospel of God; that it is only as we turn from sin and believe in Christ as the promised Messiah of Israel and Saviour of the world, that we can be reconciled back to You. Thank You that Jesus is the power of God and the wisdom of God for all who believe in Him, and that I can trust You that Your promises to Israel and those to the Church will all be fulfilled at the appointed time. In Jesus' name, AMEN.

“And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.”

Praying through Mark 1:24

Heavenly Father, thank You that Jesus is the Holy One of God, Who came in the likeness of human flesh so that He could live a life of purity and truth and offer that perfect life as the acceptable offering for the sin of the world. He also came to destroy the works of the devil, and His work on the Cross and Resurrection from the dead has won victory over sin, Satan, death, and hell. Thank You that there is nothing in heaven, or earth, or under the earth, that is able to separate me from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus my Lord. In His name I pray, AMEN.

“Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God.”

Praying through Mark 2:2

Heavenly Father, thank You for the example of Jesus, Who during His earthly life, placed the needs of others before His own comfort, and gathered the strength He needed to finish the work that You ordained for Him to do, through the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit, to Your praise and glory. May I live as Jesus lived, in total dependence upon You and in submission to the Holy Spirit, knowing that Your grace is sufficient for all the work that You have prepared for me to do. This I ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.

“And straightway many were gathered together, insomuch that there was no room to receive them, no, not so much as about the door: and he preached the word unto them.”

Praying through Mark 2:5

Thank You, Father, that Jesus died on the Cross to pay the price for my sins and that by believing on His name, my sins have been forgiven forever, and my life is now hid with Christ in God. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.

“When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.”

Praying through Mark 2:22

Heavenly Father, I want to be emptied of all that is of the old life so that I may be freshly filled, day by day, with Your Spirit of truth. I pray that I may daily die to my old self-effort and prideful self-righteousness and submit to the indwelling Holy Spirit so that the life of Christ may live in me. I pray that the life of Christ in me may produce the acceptable fruit of His righteousness, to Your praise and glory. In Jesus' name, AMEN.

Praying through Mark 2:27

Heavenly Father, thank You that I am not bound by religious laws and legalistic practices, but have been made a new creation in Christ. He is my Sabbath rest, not only during my sojourn on earth, but in the eternal ages to come. Thank You that I am not bound by the burdensome rules and regulations of the Law, but have recognised that the Law was a tool You used to point sinners to Jesus Christ. In Christ, I find true rest and refreshment as I abide in Him and He in me. May I worship You in spirit and truth every day of the week, and may I take every opportunity to meet with other believers as we worship You together and enjoy Christian fellowship in our Churches and Chapels. This I ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.

Praying through Mark 3:35

Heavenly Father, how amazing to realise that by grace through faith in Christ I have become a member of Your holy, heavenly family. Thank You for this amazing relationship that I have in Christ Jesus, and I pray that by Your grace I may present my body as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to You, for Your praise and glory. This I ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.

Praying through Mark 4:10

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word and the truths it contains. Give me a teachable spirit, ears that are ready and willing to hear the truth, and a heart that is open and prepared to search the Scriptures daily. May I grow in grace, and increase my knowledge and understanding of the Lord Jesus Christ, of Who He is and all that He has done for those who trust in Him. This I ask in His precious name, AMEN.

Praying through Mark 4:11

Heavenly Father, how I praise and thank You that the mysteries of the kingdom have become an open book to those who believe on You, and Jesus Christ, Whom You sent. Thank You that I know Him as the eternal Son that was given to be the human Child Who was born to be Saviour of the world and King of Israel. Keep the eyes of my heart ever open to the Holy Spirit's voice and give me a teachable spirit. Open the eyes and hearts of those who remain dead in their sin, especially Your people, Israel. I rejoice to know that a generation of Your people will one day recognise Jesus as Messiah and welcome Him as their Saviour. Thank You that You are a God of such compassion and grace. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.

“And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:”

Praying through Mark 4:34

Heavenly Father, for too long I have relied on my own understanding and only viewed Your Word as a good but superficial picture-book. Forgive me, Lord. I desire to gaze deeply into Your Word, drinking in all the truths and precious promises within. Guide me in Your truth and teach me, Lord. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.

“But without a parable spake he not unto them: and when they were alone, he expounded all things to his disciples.”

Praying through Mark 4:35

Heavenly Father, how astonishing to realise that Jesus also got tired and would have been overwhelmed by life's circumstances if He had not trusted wholly on You to guide Him to do what was right. Thank You that You gave us the Scriptures to help us understand Who Jesus is and why He came. You sent Jesus to the lost sheep of the house of Israel, and their rejection of their Messiah has secured my acceptance of Christ and my salvation by grace, through faith in Him. How wonderful that Israel will one day recognise Jesus, repent of their sin, be restored into fellowship with You, and trust Him as their Messiah. And thank You that You encourage my faith when the storms of life seem overwhelming. Help me to remember that no-one, not even a wild, naked, demon-possessed man, is beyond redemption by grace through faith in the Person and Work of the Lord Jesus Christ. Help me to live as He lived, in total dependence on You. This I ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.

“And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side.”

Praying through Mark 5:19

Dear Lord and Heavenly Father, the length and breadth and height and depth of Your grace and mercy is beyond our understanding. Thank You, that You are ready and willing to save those that are lost, to bind up the broken-hearted and release those that have been made captive by Satan. Thank You, that Your arms of mercy are open to Jew and Gentile alike, and that there is no sin so great that it cannot be forgiven, by grace through faith in Christ's sacrificial death and glorious resurrection. May I be willing to go where You send me and to tell those whom I meet, of the great things You have done for me. Thank You, that Your mercy is everlasting for all who will believe. Thank You in Jesus' name, AMEN.

“Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee.”

Praying through Mark 6:2

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word, the truth it contains, and the many lessons that it teaches. Prevent me from allowing my own prejudices, worldly wisdom, limited understanding, or furtive imagination, from blinding me to the truth. Give me a teachable spirit, I pray, and help me to read, mark, learn, and inwardly digest the wonderful truth of salvation. I pray that from this day forward I would walk in spirit and truth all for Your great glory. This I ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.

“And when the sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing him were astonished, saying, From whence hath this man these things? and what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands?”

Praying through Mark 6:3

Heavenly Father, thank You that You sent Your only begotten Son to be born into the human race so that by His perfect life, sacrificial death, and glorious Resurrection, I might have life everlasting and the forgiveness of sins, through faith in Him. Keep me, I pray, from developing any biases. Give me a teachable spirit and guide me into all truth. This I ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.

Praying through Mark 6:4

Heavenly Father, what a lesson I can learn from the people of Nazareth who refused to recognise the Lord Jesus, the King of Glory. He had grown up in their village and now He visited them to give them the words of eternal life, but they refused to listen and allowed doubt to cast the shadow of unbelief in their hearts and a cloud of rejection over their town. Thank You that although He was despised and rejected by His own people, You have graciously brought Gentiles into Your family and equipped us to be used in Your service. Fulfil now, O Lord, Your Word in each member of Christ's Body, and equip each one of us to carry out the work that You have prepared for us to do. Thank You that Jesus did not give up on Israel, despite their rejecting of Him, and that the day is coming when that chosen nation will recognise their Lord and their God, heaven’s greatest Prophet, High Priest, and King. In Jesus' name, AMEN.

“But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house.”

Praying through Mark 6:5

Heavenly Father, keep me from building up incorrect biases or developing legalistic attitudes. Give me a teachable spirit I pray, and may my faith become firmly established on the truth of the gospel. Help me to stand firm on the promises of God and be ready and willing to hear all that the Spirit has to teach me. Carry out a powerful work in my life I pray, and use me for the furtherance of the Gospel. This I ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.

Praying through Mark 6:31

Thank You, Father, for Your Word and for helping me to recognise how quickly You can be pushed out of my life. Help me to change my attitude from prioritising the urgent things in life to that which is of eternal value. Help me to recognise that keeping the eyes of my heart on You is the more important thing in life. Refresh my weary soul today I pray, as I abide in You and rest in Your love. In Jesus' name, AMEN.

Praying through Mark 7:20

Heavenly Father, thank You for the Law and the rules and regulations which together, beautifully point to Jesus and His final fulfilment of the Law. But what a convicting teaching from Jesus, when He declares all foods clean but then proceeds to list all the evils that come from inside our hearts and make us unclean. May I take this teaching to heart and not trample on the freedom and grace I have been given in Christ but choose to live each day in a way that honours Him in my outward actions and inward thoughts. In Jesus' name, AMEN.

Praying through Mark 8:31

Heavenly Father, what an amazing plan of redemption, that despite the fall of Adam, You purposed to redeem mankind by the sacrifice of Your only begotten Son, and that through His death and Resurrection, I too have received the forgiveness of sin and life everlasting. How wonderful it must have been for the disciples to have been taught these things by Jesus Himself. May I remember how blessed I am to have the Holy Spirit living inside me, guiding me into all truth. Praise Your holy name, AMEN.

Praying through Mark 8:34

Heavenly Father, thank You that I have been saved by grace through faith in Christ. Thank You that nothing I can do can add to the finished work of Christ on the Cross and having believed on Him, my salvation is eternally secure. But as I mature in the faith, I realise that to truly become a disciple of Yours, I must lay my entire life on the sacrificial alter as a willing offering and be ready and willing to say, "not I but Christ." May I be prepared to say, in all things, "not my will but Yours be done." Help me to deny myself, take up my own cross, and follow You willingly and joyfully, to Your praise and glory. This I ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.

“And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.”

Praying through Mark 9:10

Heavenly Father, words cannot describe the thanksgiving and praise I have for You, sending Your only begotten Son to be the substitute for my sin. No one but God made flesh, was good enough to pay the price for sin, and without His glorious Resurrection from the dead, we would remain dead in our sin and without hope in the world. Yet You purposed in Your heart that He would pay the price for my sin, through the sacrifice of His deathless life, for as the eternal son of God death could not hold Him, and as the sinless Son of Man death had no claim on His sinless life. How I praise You that He is the First-fruit from the dead, and His unique Resurrection has paved the way for all who believe on Him to rise into life immortal. To Him be all praise and glory, world without end, AMEN.

“And they kept that saying with themselves, questioning one with another what the rising from the dead should mean.”

Praying through Mark 9:23

Heavenly Father, thank You for the lessons I can learn from the man who cried out to the Lord Jesus for help and was reminded that "all things are possible to him who believes." May I never forget that You are the same yesterday, today, and forever, and that Your power to heal and help in every situation, is as sure today as it was when You healed the sick and turned water into wine. Thank You that by grace through faith in Jesus, I can come to the throne of grace for mercy to find help in time of need. Keep me from doubting Your Word, increase my faith in the days ahead, and prevent me from being adversely influenced by the mountainous situations I seem to be facing. Lord, I do believe. Increase my love and trust for You. In Jesus' name, AMEN.

Praying through Mark 9:43

Heavenly Father, thank You for this warning to eschew all that is evil and sinful from my life. Lord, I know that in my own strength, my fleshly works will be burned up like filthy rags in Your holy presence. But I thank You that there are good works for me to do which will stand the test of Your purifying fires when carried out in the power of Your Holy Spirit and through Your sufficient grace. May I live and work to Your praise and only do those things that are righteous in Your sight, for the honour of Your holy name. In Jesus' name, AMEN.

Prayer For Personal Accountability

Lord Jesus, it says in Your Word, examine Yourself to see it you are in the faith. Lord, I realise that this is not talking to unbelievers but to all of us who are Your children in Christ Jesus. Lord, help me to examine myself, and all that I am learning from You and Your Word, so that I truly may say with conviction, "I know in Whom I have believed and am walking in the path on which He has placed me."

Keep me also from critical thoughts of others, and prevent me Lord, from having a spirit of control, or by pretending to hold others accountable to You, when the beam in my own eye is greater than the speck that is in my brothers’ eye. Keep me humble before Your throne of grace.

Thank You for all my Christian friends and family. Keep us all walking close to You in the days that lie ahead. In Jesus' name I pray,

Amen.

“But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.”

Praying through Mark 10:15

Heavenly Father, grow in me the beautiful childlike qualities that are so precious to You. I pray that I may come to You, day by day, with an attitude of helpless, trusting dependence, joyful hope, a spirit yielded to You, a heart that is open to the truth of the gospel, and a teachable mind that is open to all You would have me learn and understand. May I decrease and You increase in my life, and may I grow in grace to Your praise and glory. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.

Heavenly Father, thank You for this important understanding that there are none that are good, not even one, and that it is only through faith in Christ that we have been forgiven of our sins and have received our inheritance of eternal life as a gift of Your grace. I lift up those that are seeking to know You and pray that many hearts may be opened to the good news of Jesus Christ. Use me to be a conduit through whom the truth of the gospel of grace may flow to all with whom I come in contact today. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.

Praying through Mark 10:51

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for the life and times of the Lord Jesus and the many lessons I can learn from the changed lives of those who crossed Christ’s path during His earthly ministry and found grace in the eyes of the Lord. Thank You for the son of Timaeus and the courage and determination he demonstrated, as he cried out to meet the Lord and had his eyes opened. Thank You that my eyes have been opened to the beauty of Jesus as my Kinsman-Redeemer and Saviour of my soul. I pray for the many men and women who remain spiritually impoverished today because they have not called out to Christ for salvation. Open their eyes to the truth and bring many into a right relationship with Yourself. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.

Heavenly Father, what amazing grace, that You should send Your only begotten Son to come to earth as the heavenly Lamb of God, Who takes away the sin of the world, and also as the human son of king David, Who will set up a kingdom of peace and prosperity on earth. Thank You that You loved the world so much that You chose to send Your Son to die on the Cross so that we might live. Thank You that Your plan of redemption does not exclude anyone, Jew or Gentile, and all who call on the name of the Lord in faith will be saved. Help me to live my life in a way that honours Your name, and thank You that all Your plans and purposes for the salvation of mankind, and the restoration of the world, are 'Yes' and 'Amen' in Christ Jesus our Lord. Heavenly Father, how I bless and thank You that You tell us the end from the beginning. I am filled with awe and wonder when I read Old Testament prophecies like this one being fulfilled in Jesus in the New Testament. Thank You, Lord, that Jesus was the stone that the builders rejected, and yet in Your grace, He is the Cornerstone. He is King of kings and Lord of Lords, my Saviour and my Redeemer. Open my ears as well, to hear the glorious gospel of God and reveal to me any legalistic biases I may have developed. I pray that I may love You with all my heart, and soul, and mind, and strength, knowing that You gave Your only begotten Son to come to earth as the sacrifice for my sin - for which I offer my heartfelt thanks and everlasting praise to You, for You are a good and gracious God. Praying through Mark 12:30

Father God, I know that my love is weak and cold by comparison with Your yearning heart of love toward me which is expressed in the incredible gift of the Lord Jesus as my Substitute and Saviour. I want to love You more and more with every facet of my life, in thought, and word, and deed, in spirit, soul, and body. Pour into my heart Your holy love, that I may be used as a channel of blessing through whom Your precious love flows out to those that I meet today. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.

“And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.”

Praying through Mark 12:36

Heavenly Father, thank You that You have opened my eyes to the truth of Who Jesus is - the eternal Son of God Who was born as the perfect Son of Man, to be the propitiation for my sins, redeem me from the pit, and reconcile me back to God. I am so thankful that Jesus willingly set aside His heavenly glory to come to earth to die on the Cross to save a sinner like me and rise again to give me His life. Thank You that He is sitting at Your right hand, ever making intercession for me. What a glorious Saviour. In His name I pray, AMEN.

“For David himself said by the Holy Ghost, The LORD said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool.”

Praying through Mark 13:32

Heavenly Father, thank You for telling us the end from the beginning and for the wonderful truth we have in Scripture. Thank You that Jesus is coming back very soon for His Church and that the Great Tribulation is not the end of the world but the herald of Christ's return to set up His Millennial Kingdom on earth. Help me to be ready for Christ's any day return in the clouds to rescue us from the wrath to come, and thank You that Your plans and purposes are designed to bring many sons to glory. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.

“But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.”

Praying through Mark 14:36

Heavenly Father, what amazing grace that You should send Your only begotten Son to be born as a man and suffer and die for me. I will never completely understand the stress my Saviour was under, when, sweating drops of blood because of the enormity of what lay ahead of Him, He uttered those words: "Not My will but Your will be done." But I praise and thank You that the Lord Jesus was willing to face the enormous consequences of the Cross and become sin for my sake. The wrath of God that I justly deserved was poured out on Him in my stead. The gift of my salvation that cost Jesus so much is freely given to me so that by believing in Him, I might be forgiven, redeemed, justified, sanctified, and glorified. Thank You, Lord, to Your praise and glory, AMEN.

“And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.”

Praying through Mark 14:61

Heavenly Father, I stand amazed that the Lord Jesus Christ should be so despised and rejected of men and accused of such terrible blasphemy in the most shocking manner, knowing that He had come to die on the Cross to pay the price for the sins of the high priest and all those who were accusing Him in that court of law, knowing that He had come to earth to die for my sins and the sins of the whole world, so that whosoever believes in Him would not perish but have everlasting life. Praise His holy name, AMEN.

“But he held his peace, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, and said unto him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?”

Praying through Mark 14:62

Heavenly Father, it is most wonderful to know that You sent God the Son to become the Son of Man, and to realise that Jesus is not only fully God but became fully man, so He could shed His human life-blood for the salvation of sinful humanity and redeem a lost world. It grieves my heart to think of Christ suffering at the hands of Caiaphas and the Jews, but it also rejoices my soul that He died so that I might live eternally with Him, and is seated at Your right hand. As I wait for the imminent Rapture of the Church, before the 7 year Tribulation period begins, I rejoice to know that Jesus is coming again in the clouds of heaven, at the end of the Great Tribulation, to complete His work through a new generation of Israel, and will reign on earth as King of kings and God of all. How I praise Your name, for You alone are worthy. This I pray in Jesus’ name, AMEN.

“And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.”

Praying through Mark 14:64

Loving Lord and Heavenly Father, I realise how easy it is to allow my own developed perceptions and limited knowledge to colour my understanding of who You truly are and what Jesus has done for me. My great salvation is a most glorious truth and I pray that I will not become influenced by the ways of the world, deceived by satanic lies or succumb to my own fleshly thinking. Thank You that Your Word is true, unbiased, all-reaching, ever merciful, and open to all who will humble themselves and call upon You in time of need. Thank You that You are the King of Glory and Lord of my Life, and thank You that Your sufficient grace exceeds my needs. May my ears be ever open to Your voice and my heart ever-ready to do Your will. This I ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.

“Ye have heard the blasphemy: what think ye? And they all condemned him to be guilty of death.”

Praying through Mark 15:34

Loving Father, I can only wonder at the pain that Christ went through to save me from eternal separation from You. I humbly thank You that He became sin on my behalf so that I could be made the righteousness of God, in Him. In Jesus' precious name I pray, AMEN.

Praying through Mark 16:4

Thank You, Heavenly Father, that Christ's Resurrection is an integral part of my redemption. Thank You that through His death, the full and final payment for my sin was made. And thank You that through His glorious Resurrection, He has broken the power of sin and death in my life, and in the lives of all who trust in Him for the forgiveness of sin and life everlasting. Thank You, in Jesus' name, AMEN.

“And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great.”

Praying through Mark 16:6

Heavenly Father, forgive me for too often taking for granted all that Christ’s substitutionary death and glorious Resurrection means to me. Thank You for sending Your only begotten Son to die on the Cross to pay the price for my sins. Thank You that He rose again so that I could receive His resurrected life. May I grow in grace and in a knowledge of my risen and glorified Saviour Jesus Christ, until His life is lived through me and I can say with the apostle Paul, "It is not I that live, but Christ that lives in me." To You be all praise and glory, forever and ever, AMEN.

“And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.”

Praying through Mark 16:9

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word and the beautiful examples of faith and love in the life of Mary Magdalene and so many other disciples that trusted Christ for the forgiveness of sins and life everlasting. Thank You that You died to pay the price for my sin and rose from the dead so that I too may rise into life immortal. Increase my love for You. Help me to hold fast to the faith and may I never forget what Jesus has done for me - not only in this age but in the ages to come. Thank You, in Jesus' name, AMEN.

“Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.”

Praying through Mark 16:15

Heavenly Father, thank You that I am part of the Body of Christ by faith in His death, burial, and Resurrection. Thank You that I have been entrusted with this heavenly mission to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. I pray that in Your strength, I will carry out this evangelistic mission in the place that You have put me, to Your praise and glory. Thank You that You are with me to the end of the age. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.
