Prayer Of Gratitude For Love

Thank You Lord for loving me so much that You sent Your only begotten Son to die on my behalf on a cruel cross and take upon Himself my sins. Thank You that He identified with my sinfulness so that I might be identified with His righteousness, by grace through faith in Christ. How grateful I am that while I was still a lost sinner Christ died for me.

Praise Your holy name, for You are a good God and Your loving-kindness endures forever and I will be eternally grateful that You are my God and I am Your child.

Thank You that You are my helper and healer. Thank You that You are my refuge and strength and  thank You that You have surrounded me with people who love me dearly.. and whom I love too. Lord I do not deserve any of Your grace and goodness and yet day by day You pour new and rich mercies into my lap and cover me with Your blessings. Praise God that You are the Rock of my Salvation,

Times of Healing and Spiritual Renewal

Loving Father, I know that You often halt us in our tracks and remove us from the business of life, through an illness or a time of ill-health - so that we are forced take our eyes off the hurly-burly of life, and lie on an enforced bed of sickness - in order to rediscover what are our true priorities are in life.

Father, I know that I have not spent quality time with You, as I have allowed the daily duties of life and less-important issues to crowd out my special time alone in Your presence.

Forgive me I pray. I want to use this time of ill-health as an opportunity to get closer to You. Lead me and guide me in this time of illness - and may it become a time of spiritual as well as a period of physical rest.

Heal me Father I pray, not only in my body but also in my relationship with You,

Thank you,

Amen

That They Learn To Trust Jesus as Saviour

Heavenly Father I lift us each of my grandchildren to You and thank You for each life that is so special in Your sight. Lord I pray that each one will come to know Christ as Saviour early in their lives and desire a close walk with You through their teens and twenties and into adulthood.

May they learn to love Your Word and to come to know the value of prayer in their lives so that they grow up into men and women that live godly in Christ Jesus,

Lord I pray that all of us that have a touch on these young lives will teach them day by day about the Lord Jesus and the wonderful truths in Your Word – both in word and by example - just as the mother and grandmother of Timothy taught him the truth of the Word of God. Heavenly Father, I pray that I may take up the full armour of God and resist all the works of the enemy in this evil day in which we live. I pray that I may walk in spirit and truth and being clothed in Christ's own righteousness. May I receive the power from above to stand fast in this evil day and to resist the principalities and powers - to Your praise and glory. This I ask in Jesus name, AMEN.

Heavenly Father, thank You that You have fully equipped us to overcome the world, the flesh and the devil, with such wonderful pieces of spiritual armour. Thank You for the Shield-of-Faith, with which I am enabled to extinguish all the flaming arrows and fiery darts of the evil one. Help me stand fast on the promises of God and to keep my eyes looking to Jesus. Prayer To Embrace Your Purpose In Christ

Thank You Father that I am Your child and that I have a citizenship laid up for me in the heaven, from which we await our coming Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank You that Your purpose for humanity is all tied up in Him, and that He is to be honored above all rule and authority.. power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come.

Thank You Father that You have put all things in subjection under His feet, and given Him as Head over all things to the Church, which is His body - the fullness of Him Who fills all in all.

Heavenly Father, as a part of that Body I pray that I may fulfill the work that You have purposed for me to do. I thank You Father that Your will for my life is to transform me into the image and likeness of the Lord Jesus Christ and I pray that my life may reflect His grace and beauty in all I say and do.

I pray that I may willingly submit to the work of the Holy Spirit in my life – even on those occasions when I do not understand.. and ask that all that is of me may decrease and all that is of Christ may increase – until He is all in all in my life.. to Your praise and glory. This I ask in the name of Jesus,

Amen

“Whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that ye might know our affairs, and that he might comfort your hearts.”
