Loving Father, I pray that I too might be a bond-servant of Christ Who shed His blood to save me from my sins, and that I might walk in a manner that is worthy of the glorious calling to which You have called me. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, thank You for the wealth of spiritual blessings that You have lavished on me, by grace through faith. Lord, I desire to live godly in Christ Jesus and to walk in humble dependence and humility of heart before you, all the days of my life. Help me to put off the old-self and to live as You desire, to Your praise and glory. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, I pray that I may show forth the grace of Christ, the love of the Father, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, in thought, word, and deed. May I keep the unity of the Spirit with all my brothers and sisters in Christ so that we may honour Your name through our earthly witness. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, thank You for the ministry of Paul and the inspired Word of God that we have received through his apostolic ministry. I pray that I would live my life in holy living, through Christ' sufficient grace, keeping the unity of the indwelling Holy Spirit in lowliness of heart and gentleness of spirit, so that others may see Christ in me and glorify our Father Who is in heaven. This I ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, how I praise and thank You for Your amazing wisdom and grace. Thank You that I am part of that one Body... and that by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus, I was baptised by the Holy Spirit into His Body the moment I first believed. I pray that I may stand firm in the faith and trust Your Word which was given to us by inspiration of God through the pens of Your holy apostles and prophets. Keep me looking to Jesus - the Author and Finisher of that faith and in Whose name I pray, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, thank You that Jesus is the Word made flesh and that in Him is eternal life. Thank You for the indwelling Spirit Who is building us into a holy habitation for our God and Father. Thank You for the Word of life and the truths that it contains - and thank You that by faith in Christ Jesus, I have the right to call You Abba - my Father. Thank You that I am part of that universal Church and for the elements of unity within the Christian faith that bind us together in Christ - for Your praise and glory, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your amazing grace and for Your unmerited favour to all Your children. Thank You for bestowing Your grace onto each of us individually, in different ways, and in proportion to the measure of Christ's rich and bounteous gift. I honour and bless You for Your amazing gift of salvation through Christ and pray that I may live humbly, righteously, and in the fear of God all the days of my life, for His greater honour and glory. In Jesus' name, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, thank You that Christ was the perfect sacrifice. He gave His life as the ransom price for sin and set us free from all the evils that have ensnared us. Thank You that Christ defeated sin and Satan, death and hell, and triumphed over every evil foe. Thank You that because He lives, I too shall live. In Jesus' name, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, the more I understand Your Word, the more You graciously open up my understanding to new and exciting truths. Help me to grow in grace and give me a teachable spirit and the opportunity to learn more of You. Thank You that Jesus came down from heaven to be my Saviour and ascended back to glory in triumph after defeating Satan, sin, death, and hell, by His sacrificial death and glorious Resurrection. Thank You that my salvation does not depend on what I do but on what Christ has done on my account. Thank You, Lord. This I pray in Jesus' name, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, thank You for the wonderful way that You have protected Your Word through the foundation of the apostles and prophets, where Christ Himself is the chief Cornerstone. Thank You also, for those that are called to be evangelists and pastor-teachers. I pray that You would equip each one for the service to which they are called, and may their lives and ministries bring glory to You. In Jesus' name, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, thank You for the apostles and prophets who established the foundations of our faith in those early years of the Church, and wrote the principles and practices of Christianity in New Testament Scriptures. Thank You for the men and women, the pastors and preachers, the teachers and evangelists, and the faithful members of Your body, who taught me the truth, and helped to establish my faith, after I placed my trust in Christ. Help me to use my own spiritual gift for the equipping of the saints and to forward Your plan for my life. This I ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your perfect plan of redemption and for Jesus, my precious Saviour. Thank You for bringing me into Your heavenly family and making me a part of the Church of God. Help me to grow in my faith, in unity with my brothers and sisters in Christ and in an ever-increasing knowledge of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Father, I long for that day when, together with all the saints of God, I shall be fully mature and reach a measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. In Jesus’ name, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, I am aware that there are many in the Church that are abusing the precious gifts of the Spirit and distorting the Word of truth. Help me to study to show myself approved unto God and work the works of God in my life for the edification of the Body of Christ and for the greater glory of the Lord Jesus Himself. To Him be all honour and glory, might, majesty, dominion, and power, forever and ever, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, thank You that I am part of Christ's Body and thank You that we are united together in Him. Thank You for the unity we have in Christ and for the diversity of people that have been saved by grace through faith in Christ. Thank You that we are all one in Him and are being fitted and held together, as we live and work according to Your plans and purposes. May we live, and work, and grow together in Him, and help to build each other up in the unity of the faith. This I ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, thank You that You have opened my understanding to the futility of what I was. Thank You that You have exposed the satanic trap from which faith in Christ has delivered me. May I never forget the position, privileges, and promises that are mine in Christ, by grace through faith. Thank You for opening my eyes to the truth of Your Word. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your amazing goodness and grace, when You stooped down in Your mercy and kindness, to rescue me from eternal separation from You and from becoming ever more entrenched in the callous sensuality, impurity, and greed, that has saturated the sin nature of fallen humanity. Thank You that in Christ, I am part of a new creation and have passed from darkness to light. Thank You that I have been positioned in Christ and am seated together with Him in heavenly places. May I live and work to Your praise and glory. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word of truth and for Your indwelling Spirit of truth. Thank You for searching me out and drawing me into the way of truth and for those You have used to teach me Your Word. Thank You, Father, for the Lord Jesus Christ, Who is the Truth. Help me to live in a way that is honouring to Him. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, thank You that I have been redeemed by faith in the death, burial, and Resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. I yield my life to You. I pray that by the power of Your Holy Spirit, You would teach me Your ways. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.
Loving Father, I know that You often halt us in our tracks and remove us from the business of life, through an illness or a time of ill-health, so that we are forced take our eyes off the hurly-burly of life and lie on an enforced bed of sickness, in order to rediscover what are our true priorities are in life.
Father, I know that I have not spent quality time with You, as I have allowed the daily duties of life and less-important issues to crowd out my special time alone in Your presence.
Forgive me, I pray. I want to use this time of ill-health as an opportunity to get closer to You. Lead me and guide me in this time of illness, and may it become a time of spiritual as well as a period of physical rest.
Heal me Father I pray, not only in my body but also in my relationship with You. In Jesus' name,
Heavenly Father, thank You that by believing on Christ, I have been made a new creation and that my new life has been created in Your likeness. Lord, I know that I have been created in righteousness and holiness, and pray that You would help me to walk in spirit and truth. Help me to put off all my former ways of life which would quench the working of Your Spirit within. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, examine my heart and expose any areas that are displeasing to You. Help me to root out any hypocrisy from my heart and remove any mask of pretence that I may be hiding behind. May I always speak the truth and live godly in Christ Jesus. Teach me, I pray, to love others as You have loved me. In Jesus' name, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, thank You for Paul's simple, but important teaching on anger issues. I pray that I may be ready and willing to express anger against sin and the things that grieve Your heart, in a godly and righteous way that honours Your name. May I also recognise any fleshly emotions which motivate me toward unrighteous anger. May I never give the enemy a foothold in my life, either directly, through fleshly anger, or indirectly, by allowing legitimate, righteous anger to deteriorate into a self-righteous attitude. Give me wisdom, I pray, and a discerning heart to know when to be angry without sinning so that the testimony I present may be for Your honour and glory. This I ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, thank You for the many privileges that are mine in Christ Jesus and that in Him I have all that I need for life and godliness. Help me take responsibility for living my life in a way that honours You. As I walk by the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit, may the devil have no opportunity to deceive me with His lies and cause my testimony to be shipwrecked. Help me to remain in Christ, moment by moment, taking every thought captive to Him and walking in spirit and truth for Your greater glory. This I ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, as I read through the many instructions we receive on godly living and Christlike behaviour, I recognise that it is not a superficial change in my outward behaviour that is important, but an inner change in the deep recesses of my being... a change of character that reflects the life of Christ within. Forgive me for the times I have stolen from others, whether it be in goods, motive, reputation, or in some other more subtle way. I pray that in thought, word, and deed, my actions and attitude would be pure and noble and would honour Your holy name. Bestow on me a generous spirit so I may be cheerful in my giving and compassionate in my heart towards others. This I ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.
Dear Lord Jesus, every good and perfect gift is a blessing from You and You have blessed me with so much. I ask that You would use me to be a blessing to others who are in need or facing difficulties.
Make me a channel of Your blessing, a channel through whom Your love and peace and joy and love flow out from You, through me to others. May I be Your hands to bless others. May You guide my feet to places where I can go and be a blessing. May my speech be seasoned with salt so that I may speak words of comfort and encouragement, and speak the truth in love. Give me the grace to be available when others are in need.
Lord, I pray that You may increase in my life and I may decrease, so that the blessings that You pour through me to others, may draw each one closer into the arms of the Lord Jesus. In His name I pray,
Heavenly Father, keep me, I pray, from all those things that grieve Your Spirit and cause destruction to my soul. Rather, may I live unto the Lord in humility of heart and gentleness of spirit. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, forgive me for any bitterness that I have harboured in my heart against You or others. Thank You that I have been forgiven by grace through faith in Christ. Help me to live my life as unto Him. Help me to be slow to anger, quick to forgive, and abounding in steadfast love, kindness, compassion, forgiveness, and grace. To the glory of Christ, in Whose name I pray, AMEN.
Loving Heavenly Father, thank You for Your grace, mercy, love, and immeasurable forgiveness toward me. May I reflect You in my thoughts, words, and deeds. I pray that I will be kind, compassionate, and forgiving toward others, just as You forgave me. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.
