Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for the reminder in Jeremiah that you formed each one of us in the womb and thank You that You have scheduled every day of my life. Thank You for the example of Jeremiah the prophet who was willing to suffer hardship, loneliness, pain, and rejection for the furtherance of Your will and to pen portions of holy Scripture for our learning. I pray that from this day forward, my life may be consecrated to You and that You would use me to fulfil Your will in my life, for Your greater praise and glory. This I ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, thank You for the example of Jeremiah, who was used by You to tell both Jew and Gentile the message You gave Him to speak. Thank You that You can use anyone, who is ready and willing to hear and answer Your call. Thank You that You have promised that Your grace is sufficient – when in faith we respond to Your leading and guidance. Lord, here am I – send me, in Jesus name, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, thank You that there is nothing in heaven or earth, of which to be afraid. Thank You that You are with me and have promised to deliver me from all forms of evil and to protect me, and those I love, from all that would do me harm, just as You did with Jeremiah, and other men of God, who trusted Your name. Thank You for the witness of people like Jeremiah, whom You equipped as a mighty man of God, yet was attacked on all sides. Thank You that Your promises to him stood fast throughout his lifetime, just as they do for your people today. Thank You that You are my Defence and my Deliver, through time and into eternity. This I pray in Jesus' name, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, forgive me for the times I have not listened to Your voice or responded to Your Word, but have followed my own way and have been influenced by things that dishonour Your name. Keep me low at the Cross and broken before You. Open my ears to hear Your voice and open my eyes so that I may follow in Your way. As I consider Israel's failure to listen to Your Word and obey Your voice, help me to be attentive to all that You would teach me, and may I honour Your name in all I am and all I do, to Your praise and glory. This I ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.
Loving Lord, I come to You to place the once great nation of United States of America at Your feet, knowing that our great country and it's constitution was made for a moral and religious people and is wholly inadequate for any other form of government, and yet we have strayed so far from the principles and practices of our great founders, who drew up our constitution based on Your Word.
But Lord, although this was once the land of the brave and the home of the free, sadly there is so much that is wrong with our country that I fear for its future. Lord, as a people we have walked away from You and discredited Your holy name by the way that we have conducted ourselves over the past few years and there is no health in our land.
Look down in pity on our people and our land, and protect us from those that seem determined on destroying our nation. Send Your Spirit I pray, through the land of America, and touch the hearts of all those that are called by Your name to plead on behalf our people. Convict those that are damaging our infrastructure and as a nation may we turn away from our wicked ways and return You to Your rightful position, in integrity and truth.
I ask this in Jesus' name,
Heavenly Father, thank You for Jeremiah who was obedient to his calling despite the immense opposition he received from his fellow-countrymen. I pray that I may be faithful to my calling and walk in the way of peace and righteousness for Your name's sake, even when I am opposed by family or friends. Keep me low at the Cross and broken before You. May I walk in spirit and truth towards the high calling of God in Christ Jesus, dying to self and living for Christ alone for Your greater praise and glory. This I ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, it is with a grieving heart that we come before You to plead for our national leaders, who have been so deceived by the satanic system that has relegated God to the realms of the irrelevant. And we pray for Christendom in particular, for the shocking way that we have allowed the world to so influence our thinking to the extent that we have lost sight of who we are in Christ. Look down on us with pity and mercy we pray and may You graciously pluck many from the brands before that great and terrible day of the Lord. This we ask in Jesus name, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, the lament of Jeremiah makes me realise that there is none that is good - not even one. But thank You that in Your grace You sent Jesus to be the propitiation for my sin - and not only for my sin, but for the sin of the whole world, so that whosoever believes on Him would not perish but have everlasting life. I pray that I may reflect the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living and be a living sacrifice of prayer and praise for Your greater glory - this I ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.
Loving heavenly Father I worship and praise You for You alone are worthy of praise – for You alone are the living God of truth and love – righteousness and justice. Thank You that You are in control of the whole earth, despite the evil ploys of wicked men – and that one day You will right all wrongs. Thank You that Your desire is to save all those that trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. Who is my God and my Saviour and in Whose name I pray, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, As I read through the life and times of Israel I realise that their initial murmurings and unbelief led them into the most terrible apostasy against Your holy name. Keep me grounded on the Word of Truth - lest I also am carried away by the error of lawlessness and fall from my own secure position in Christ. May I grow in grace, and in a knowledge of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, to Who be all praise and glory, AMEN.
Father forgive me for the times when I have sought to walk independently of Your leading, which I recognise is a form of rebellion and an attempt to be independent from You. May I become increasingly willing to remain dependent upon You, for I desire that You guide my steps and lead me in the way I should go, in Jesus name I pray, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, Thank You for Your written Word and for Jesus Christ, the living Word of God. I pray that Your Word would become for me a joy.. and the delight of my heart for I have been called by Your name, and saved by the blood of the Lamb. I pray that I may be a doer of the word and always trust in its precepts and promises, no matter what difficulties and dangers I may have to undergo as an individual or nationally. Help me to hold fast that which is good and do only those things that are pleasing in Your sight - in Jesus name I pray, AMEN
Heavenly Father, thank You that You are a God Who never changes. Thank You that Your love and grace is the same yesterday, today and forever. Forgive me for the times that I have wandered far away from You, and drunk from the broken cisterns of this world. May I never place my trust in man, nor put my confidence in my own abilities by depending works of the flesh, or trusting in my own strength. Let me not be enticed from Your word of truth, and help me to keep the eyes of my heart, and the meditation of my mind, on the Lord Jesus, I pray - for He alone is worthy. This I ask in Jesus name, AMEN.
Loving Father, I realise more and more, the rich blessings that are received by those who trust in Your Word and place their eternal hope in You. Help me to live by faith and not by sight, so that You become increasingly the focus of my heart and joy of my life. Develop in me that child-like trust in You that pleases Your Father-heart of love. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, thank You Lord that in the midst of all life's difficulties and problem You are my Rock and my Redeemer - my Source and my Supply. Thank You that in Christ I have all I need to stand firm in this evil day. Thank You that Christ is my health, my strength and the stronghold of my life.. I pray that no matter what difficulties arise, that I would draw all my hope and strength from You, so that I may stand fast in the evil day. I pray that I would live a life that honours You and that I would bear much fruit to Your praise and glory - this I ask in Jesus name, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, thank You that I am Your child and have been saved by grace through faith in Christ - nonetheless it is uncomfortable to realise that like all men.. my heart is deceitful and desperately wicked. I pray that You would search my heart; my motives; my conscious thoughts - and even my unconscious imaginings, to see if there is anything in me that needs to be rooted out. Purify my heart I pray, in Jesus name, AMEN
Heavenly Father, thank You that You are a faithful God to those that put their trust in You. Thank You for the prophecy of Jeremiah and for the knowledge that You are a righteous God, Who will not only reward those who trust in You, but will punish the wicked who reject Your long-suffering mercy and gracious offer of salvation. Search my heart I pray and help me to abide in Christ day by day, so that I may be like a tree that blossoms and buds, and brings forth much fruit, for Your praise and glory. This I ask in Jesus name, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, thank You for the historical record of Israel's history, which has so much to teach us of your plans and purposes for mankind and Your goodness and grace towards us. Thank You for men like Jeremiah, who faithfully spoke Your word and obeyed Your instructions, so that we might learn from their mistakes and be guided into godly living. Thank You that You can be trusted to fulfil Your promises to Your people and to correct us when we go astray. I pray that I would be faithful in the work You have given for me to do, and thank You that in You is healing, wholeness, hope and joy - for You are my God and are worthy of all praise - AMEN.
Father thank You that You are my God, Keep me ever faithful to Your word and thank You that no matter what happens You are my refuge in the day of disaster - in Jesus name, AMEN.
Loving Father, thank You for the truths in Your word. Thank You that You are forming me into the person You want me to be. Help me to lie willingly in Your hands, for I trust You to form me into the vessel that You want me to be, to Your praise and glory, AMEN.
Dear God, I know that it is Your will to help those that are afflicted, to support the weak, to provide for the widows and orphans and to help those that are in need.
Use my hands to be of service to those in need, and use my voice to speak words of healing and encouragement to those that are afflicted and in distress. Thank You for hearing my prayer. In Jesus' name,
Loving Father we praise You for our great salvation in Christ Jesus, Who is the Lord, our righteousness. Thank You that Your promises to us- the Church, as well as to the nation of Israel never fail and are “yes” and “amen” in Christ Jesus our Lord. Protect Your people, Israel we pray and bring them to the knowledge of Jesus Christ, their true Messiah, Who is the Way the Truth and the Life, in Jesus name we pray, AMEN.
Thank You, Lord, for the good plans You have purposed for me and for all Your children. Enlarge my vision of You and enable me to trust Your Word of truth through all the circumstances of my life, knowing that Your thoughts towards me are only good continually. Thank You, Father, that all things work together for good, for those that love You and are fitting into Your plans and purposes. Continue to keep and protect Your people, Israel, and I pray that many would come to trust in Jesus, their Messiah and King. This I ask in Jesus' precious name and for his greater glory and joy, AMEN.
Thank You, Heavenly Father, that I am Your child. I want to know You more and pray that as I seek You through Your Word and come before Your throne of grace, in prayer and praise, You will show me more of Yourself. Instil in my heart a desire to seek You more and search for You with my whole heart, and I pray that I will discover a depth of Your perfect character that I have never seen before. Let me reflect You in thought, word, and deed, as Christ is being formed in me. In His name I pray, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your amazing plan of redemption. Thank You that although Adam sinned and Israel failed, You sent Jesus to be pay the price for our sin and failure. Thank You that by faith in Him we have an inheritance that is kept for us in heaven and thank You that Israel will one day receive the earthly inheritance that You promised to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Israel. Thank You in Jesus' name, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, as I ponder the amazing prophecies of Jeremiah the prophet which not only predict the punishment of Israel for her sin but also their wonderful restoration and redemption, I praise and thank You for Your tender mercies and great goodness to me and all people. Thank You that You are a covenant-keeping God, and that my eternal salvation and blessed redemption does not rely on my goodness but is founded on the blood of Christ, shed at Calvary, such that whosoever believes on HIM will not perish but have everlasting life. Protect Your people, Israel, in these increasingly hostile times and fulfil Your Word to them. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, I seem to have been hit with a number of ailments all at the same time, and the doctors do not seem to know why this has happened, or how to treat me. Lord, You know exactly what is wrong with my body, and I ask that You would direct me toward the right treatment, not just to mask the conditions that have invaded my body, but to search out the root of the problem, and enable it to be cured.
Lord, I know that we are fearfully and wonderfully made, and that You even know the number of hairs on my head. You knew me before I was born and scheduled every day of my life, so this illness is nothing unexpected to You. Heal me Lord I pray, in whatever way seems best to You.
Lord, show me what I ought to do, I pray. If I need to change my eating habits, eliminate something from my diet or do something I have not thought about, I ask that You would direct me, or prompt someone else give me some advice.
Lord, I wait on You and pray that in Your time and in Your way, You will not only restore my body to full health and strength, but that You would give me Your peace and serenity in my heart, knowing that in all things, I am safe in the arms of my Saviour, in Whose name I pray,
Father, You are our God of hope and love. Thank You for sending Your only begotten Son into the world, so that sinful man might be forgiven of their sins and be given peace with God, through the sacrifice of the precious life of Christ Jesus.
Thank You for the joy and hope that this time of Advent brings into the hearts of all those who trust in Jesus. Thank You for the good news of the gospel of Christ that brings man back into sweet fellowship with their Creator, and for the perfect peace and glorious hope that He has placed into the hearts of all who trust on His name.
Thank You, Lord, that Jesus is coming again to set up His eternal kingdom on earth as You have promised, and that we who are members of His body will rule and reign with Him for 1000 years.
Thank You, for the hope and love and peace that You gave to mankind in the Person of our Lord Jesus Christ. To Him be all the praise and glory at this special time of Advent and throughout the coming year. In Jesus' name,
God of wisdom and love, I am not worthy to gather the crumbs under Your table and yet in mercy and love You picked me up out of the miry clay and dressed me in the robe of Christ’s righteousness, for His name's sake. I praise You for the unconditional love You pour out on me in unhindered measure, because Your eternal character is measureless love. Thank You, Father, for Your everlasting love for me and thank You that in loving-kindness You drew me to Yourself and made me Your child. In Christ’s name I pray, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, thank You for the many prophetic writing of holy men of God, like Jeremiah, who had to endure such pain and suffering so that we could receive Your written word. Thank You for the many promises that You made to Your people, Israel – despite their apostasy, and for the hope that we all have in Christ Jesus, their Messiah and our Saviour. Thank You that Jesus is coming back to right all wrongs and that by Your grace You have told us the end from the beginning. Thank You that the day is coming when You will wipe away all tears from our eyes and Christ returns to reign as King of kings and Lord of lords. Help me to learn the lessons that You would teach me and help me to anchor my hope in Christ – in Whose name we pray, AMEN.
Dear Lord Jesus, You were the One who healed all manner of sickness and diseases when You walked on the shores of Galilee.
I come to You today to ask for Your healing touch in every area of my life, for I am weary in body, mind and spirit. My health is failing and I am not even sure what is wrong with me, except that I need Your touch on my life more that I have ever needed before. Strengthen me in spirit,
I pray that You renew my heart with Your healing touch and refresh me in body, soul and spirit. Thank You, Jesus,
Heavenly Father, what a great and awesome God You are. Your faithfulness to Your people, Israel, and the promises You have given them are beyond our understanding. Thank You that Jesus came to earth as the Messiah of Israel and Saviour of the Gentile world, and that through faith in Him, I have become Your child. Remove the blinkers from the eyes of Your chosen people, through Whom was born my own, precious Saviour, Who died for my sins and rose again, so that I too may rise into life immortal. I look forward to the day when Your New Covenant with the united kingdoms of Israel and Judah will be fully and finally ratified, when the earth will be subjected to Christ's kingdom of righteousness and justice. Thank You in Jesus' name, AMEN.

Thank You that You are a listening God Who hears the calls and cries of Your people and thank You for the many precious promises that will never fail - because You are faithful and true to Your word. It is wonderful to know that faithful men of God, like Jeremiah, were prepared to endure mocking; loneliness; imprisonment and rejection so we might have the holy Scriptures which guide us into all truth - and thank You that Jesus came to be our substitute for sin and endure pain and suffering of the cross, so that we might live and reign with Him forever - praise Your holy name. AMEN.
Heavenly Father, thank You for the encouraging truths in the book of Jeremiah that Christ, the righteous Branch of David, will return as King of kings to establish His kingdom and execute justice and righteousness on the earth. Thank You that I have already trusted Christ for my salvation, but I pray for those who have not yet come to faith in Him and especially those of the houses of Israel and Judah. Prepare the hearts of Your people for the soon return of Christ to set up His kingdom, and bring many in Your chosen nation of Israel to faith in Him This I pray in Jesus' name and for His greater glory, AMEN.
Dear Father, thank You for directing my path every step of the way, as I follow Your leading and direction. Guide me along a straight path today and direct my goings-out and coming-in. Thank You that I have access to the throne of grace every moment of the day, and I pray that my prayers and intercessions for myself and others may be offered up in spirit and in truth. May I listen to Your guiding voice in all things and be able to pray with boldness and confidence, THY will, not mine be done. In Jesus' name, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, thank You for Jesus and the wonderful way that You have led Your people Israel down through the years. Thank You that You never forgot the covenant that You made with Your people.
