Prayer for Jeremiah 33:16

“In those days Judah will be saved, and Jerusalem will dwell securely, and this is what she will be named: The Lord Is Our Righteousness.”

Praying through Jeremiah 33:16

Heavenly Father, thank You that You are a God Whose Word is settled in heaven, and that You are the same yesterday, today, and forever. What comfort and hope we have in Christ Jesus, Who will bring righteousness and peace to this broken world when He returns to earth to set up His kingdom of righteousness and peace. I praise You that a day is coming when you will finally ratify the New Covenant with Israel that was cut at Calvary's Cross, two thousand years ago. You will finally write Your laws on their hearts, and Jerusalem will be called 'the Lord our Righteousness'. Thank You that by grace through faith in Him, I have already become Your child and that I have peace with God. Thank You for Your unconditional love and grace, and help me to live a life that honours You in thought, word, and deed. I ask all these things in the name of Jesus, AMEN.
