Prayer for Ephesians 2

I praise Your wonderful grace that made me alive in Christ, when I was dead in trespasses and sins, and without hope in the world. Thank You Father for Jesus. I pray that Your Spirit will more and more open my understanding to this indescribable gift that I have been given. Make me bold in proclaiming the saving blood of Jesus to those that are born dead in their sins, in Jesus name I pray, AMEN.

Heavenly Father, thank You that I have been released from bondage to sin and death. Thank You that I have been set free from walking according to the course of this world. Thank You that I have been delivered from slavery to sin; the world; the flesh and the devil. Thank You that I am no longer a son of disobedience and estranged from You but that in Christ, the Spirit of God now works in me and is conforming me into the likeness of Your dearly beloved Son. May I live each day to Your praise and glory, in Jesus name I pray. AMEN.

Heavenly Father, how I praise and thank You for Your goodness and grace towards the children of men. Thank You that You purpose to save ALL who would simply trust in Your gift of salvation by grace. Thank You that all we need to do is to trust in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, as the payment for our sin. Thank You that You have not judged me according to my own sin, for I would not stand the scrutiny of Your perfect righteousness. Thank You that Christ was judged in my place, and punished for my sin.. and that just as He was identified with ALL my sin, so I am identified with His perfect righteousness - through time and into eternity. I pray that I may never forget the amazing grace that I have received, in that while I was yet a sinner, Christ died for me. I pray that may I live the rest of my life, with a grateful heart of thanksgiving and praise - and in Jesus name I pray, AMEN,

“Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.”

Loving Father I scarce can take in the enormity and wisdom of Your plan for my salvation and the mercy and grace that has made me free from the power of sin and death and imputed to me the righteousness of Your Beloved Son. There is nothing I can do except to thank You dear Father and pray that with my whole body, soul and spirit, I may glorify You in all I am and all I do, through the power of the Holy Spirit and to the praise of Your holy name. AMEN.

That They Learn To Trust Jesus as Saviour

Heavenly Father I lift us each of my grandchildren to You and thank You for each life that is so special in Your sight. Lord I pray that each one will come to know Christ as Saviour early in their lives and desire a close walk with You through their teens and twenties and into adulthood.

May they learn to love Your Word and to come to know the value of prayer in their lives so that they grow up into men and women that live godly in Christ Jesus,

Lord I pray that all of us that have a touch on these young lives will teach them day by day about the Lord Jesus and the wonderful truths in Your Word – both in word and by example - just as the mother and grandmother of Timothy taught him the truth of the Word of God. Guide each of my precious grandchildren into all truth and bring them into true saving faith I pray… for You have promised that children that are brought up in the way that they should go will not depart from it as they grow older..

Keep each one I pray under the shadow of Your protection and love and may they grow in grace and discernment and wisdom throughout their lives – and use each one I pray in Your service I pray, to Your praise and glory, in Jesus name I pray,

Amen

Dear heavenly Father, thank You for bringing me to a deeper understanding that in myself there is no good thing that is acceptable to You in my Christian life – but only as I live by faith in the work of the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself for me… so that I might be saved by grace through faith in Him, in Whose name I pray, AMEN.

Prayer For Life Of Purpose

Heavenly Father I thank You that Your perfect plans and purposes can never be frustrated and that You are working quietly in the background in order that Your divine will continues to progress towards its ultimate goal, as year succeeds to year.

I praise You that You have given me life and made me a new creation in Christ and thank You Father, that You have a special purpose for my life too. Thank You that by Your grace You are carrying out Your purposes in the lives of all Your children - that Christ is all and in all and I pray that this may be realized in my life too.

Enable and equip me I pray, to fulfill the plan and purpose that you have for me to do and I ask that You would use each gift and every talent that You have graciously given to me, to Your praise and glory.

Help me to fulfill all that You would have me do in my life and may I be obedient to Your voice as I seek to carry out Your purpose for my life. May I rejoice evermore and pray without ceasing.

May I give thanks in all things and hearken to the voice of Your Holy Spirit and may I hold fast to that which is good and abstain from all forms of evil – knowing that this is Your will for my life.. in Jesus name I pray,

Amen

Heavenly Father, I pray that You would keep in my remembrance, all the gifts and graces that have become mine, because of Your goodness and grace, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, Who is that Seed of the woman, Who crushed the head of the servant on Calvary's cross. Thank You that I am no longer separated from You by sin, but have been positioned in Christ and clothed in His righteousness. Thank You that although I was excluded from being part of Your chosen nation, I have, by faith, been brought near to God and received a heavenly inheritance. Thank You that I am no longer a stranger to the New Covenant of promise, that was promised to Israel and cut at Calvary, and thank You that Jesus is my Blessed Hope, gracious God and eternal Saviour, in Whose name I pray, AMEN.

“That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:”
