Prayer for Isaiah 61

Choose Verse

Heavenly Father, my understanding is so limited of all You are and the untold mysteries that surround the triune Godhead and the incarnate Word of God, and yet You loved me so much that You came in the Person of the Lord Jesus Christ to die for my sins.. so that I might receive the good tidings of great joy which have been given to for people.. so that by grace through faith in Him I have been forgiven of my sins. Thank You for binding up my broken and bleeding heart. Thank You that in Christ I have been set free from the bondage to sin, the curse of the Law and enslavement by Satan. Thank You in Jesus name, AMEN.

“The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;”
(Isaiah 61:1)

Prayer For Fathers Mourning An Abortion

Loving Lord, we lift before You the fathers of aborted babies and the emotional trauma that can often affect them, knowing that they are often excluded from the decision to terminate a pregnancy.

We pray that You would be close to those who have been left emotionally distraught and grieving for the little life that they were denied.

We pray Your comfort upon all men who have been affected by abortion in this way and ask that You would give solace and succour to all who are grieving for the son or daughter that they will never see. This we ask in Jesus name,

Amen

“To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.”
(Isaiah 61:3)
Category: Prayer for Abortion

Dear Lord Jesus, thank You for Your many gifts of pardon, peace and purity – of faith, hope and love. But above all we bless and thank You in Jesus name, for the greatest of all gifts, in the person of Your dearly beloved Son, Who died to redeem us with His precious blood, and Who lives forever within our hearts. AMEN.

“I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.”
