Prayer for Isaiah 43

Choose Verse

Loving Shepherd of the sheep, thank You for Your gracious promises, not only to Israel but to Your new creation in Christ. Thank You that Your promises to all Your children are “Yes” and “Amen” in Christ, in Whose name we pray, AMEN.

“But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.”

Prayer To Overcome Today’s Difficulties

Father God, I know that the life-path I am treading is fraught with difficulties and problems but Lord I trust You to lead and guide me through the maze of life, because You have promised to be with me to lead and to guide – to strengthen and to help.

Let me never lose sight of who I am in Christ and help me to trust You in all things, knowing that I am Your child and that greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.

Thank You that You are my Shepherd Who has promised to lead and to guide.. to protect and to uphold. Thank You that you are my Defence and my Defender and that You have promised to be my ever-present help in those times of unexpected difficulties and trials.

Thank You Lord, that You remain faithful and dependable, even when I stray from the path that You have graciously laid out for me. May I never forget that You are my firm Anchor and the steady Rock upon which I stand, and that no difficulty in life is to great that You cannot overcome – thank You in Jesus name,

Amen
“When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.”

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your goodness and faithfulness to Your people Israel, who for so long have been a nation living in unbelief and in rebellion to the truth of the gospel. Thank You for Your long-suffering mercy and the assurance that they will one day fulfil the work that You have called them to do - to be Your witnesses to a world that is lost in sin and to know and believe that You are the Lord. Thank You that in Your grace You called out of the Gentiles a people for Your name, to tell forth the good news of the gospel of grace...  until the day when Israel proclaims the gospel of the kingdom and acknowledges Jesus as their Messiah and Lord - in Whose name we pray, AMEN.

“Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.”

What a wonderful God You are, and I praise and thank You for Your grace, wisdom, love and patience towards me, which causes me to rejoice greatly. There is nothing to commend me to You, and yet You have called me and chosen me, saved me and fashioned me to be Your witness to this generation and in the world to come, life everlasting. Thank You for Your gracious character and redeeming love and may I sing forth Your praise, not only with my lips but in my life, for ever and ever, in Jesus name I pray, AMEN.

“This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise.”

Prayer To Embrace Your Purpose In Christ

Thank You Father that I am Your child and that I have a citizenship laid up for me in the heaven, from which we await our coming Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank You that Your purpose for humanity is all tied up in Him, and that He is to be honored above all rule and authority.. power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come.

Thank You Father that You have put all things in subjection under His feet, and given Him as Head over all things to the Church, which is His body - the fullness of Him Who fills all in all.

Heavenly Father, as a part of that Body I pray that I may fulfill the work that You have purposed for me to do. I thank You Father that Your will for my life is to transform me into the image and likeness of the Lord Jesus Christ and I pray that my life may reflect His grace and beauty in all I say and do.

I pray that I may willingly submit to the work of the Holy Spirit in my life – even on those occasions when I do not understand.. and ask that all that is of me may decrease and all that is of Christ may increase – until He is all in all in my life.. to Your praise and glory. This I ask in the name of Jesus,

Amen
