I need to quit for good from

I have been smoking on and off for about 20 years. I quit for each of my 3 pregnancies and during the time I nursed each one of them but always go right back to smoking. I sometimes get tired of it and stop for a month then the 1st upset in my life and I'm right back at it. I want to be a good example for my kids and it hurts them when they catch me smoking. I have also been asking the Lord to help me live the life he wants for me to live and to do what he wants and he is the one who has put it in my heart to quit. I admit I pouted for a couple days saying Lord I'm not ready and finally I just quit. Its been a week and some days I'm fine but others I can't think of anything else until I at least take a couple drags of my husband's cigarette. Then, I spend the day feeling like a horrible person and I don't want to keep praying for God to forgive me and just keep doing it here and there because I know that its wrong. I need prayers to keep the cravings away completely especially when there are so many smokers in my life. I want to serve God and get so upset that smoking has such a hold on me knowing that one day I may have to choose to be killed for my faith in God yet I can't choose to quit smoking and stick to it. It really bothers me that I have not chosen God over this addiction because it has such a hold on me. Thanks for your prayers.
