Heavenly Father, I lift up the many youth groups and ministries that are seeking to share the gospel of Christ with young people today, and particularly I ask you to lead and guide those that are in leadership positions.
I ask that You would give each one the wisdom, strength, authority and grace that they need to lead youth groups, and may they not be ashamed of sharing the gospel, but rather be challenged to reach out to each and every young person, and show the love of Jesus in their actions, attitudes and speech.
I ask that You would keep any evil influences away that would seek to disrupt their groups, and that You would give them the wisdom and grace not to conform to the ways of the world, but rather run their youth group on true biblical principles.
Father, I pray that You would use the youth groups around the globe to reach out to both unsaved and Christian youth, so that they may not only come to know the Lord as their Saviour but begin to grow in grace and in a knowledge of the Lord Jesus. In Jesus' name,

Lord, I come to You today to pray for the nations of the world and their leaders and governors. Whether a nation is governed by a king or queen, a prince or president, a prime minister or some other form of governance, we pray for each one, that they may fulfil Your plans and Your purposes, in whatever they do, in their lands.
I ask Your blessing on those that are seeking to follow Your ways and I pray for Your pity and mercy on those that are deliberately defying You as the Creator God.
Lord, I know that You are the One that places rulers in their high positions of honour, and You are also the one that removes leaders from their elevated perches. I pray that in Your grace and mercy, You would look down on the nations of the world and intervene with those that are severely oppressing their own people.
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord and whether at a national level or in local governance, I pray Your blessing on those men and women that are seeking to follow Your way, as they implement their authority. I also know, Lord, that the opposite is true and that those who defy the living God will come to no good.
Have pity Lord, and convict the leaders of our nations to turn to You. Protect the people that are having to live in nations with a corrupt or evil government. And may the Lord Jesus Himself return very soon to set up His perfect kingdom in this world, when the earth will be filled with a true knowledge of You. In Jesus' name I pray,

Lord Jesus, I come to You astonished and saddened by the many lies that are being perpetrated in some of the highest corridors of power in the land, and it seems that no one can or will do anything to address what is effectively a clamp-down on truth.
Father, for too long I have allowed the evils that seem to be swamping our world in general and our country in particular to wash over me, but Lord there are so many evils that have ravaged our people, and goodness and truth seem to be a thing of the dim and distant past, especially the truth of Your Word.
Lord, forgive me for not opening my eyes earlier to what is going on, but I pray that You would use me now to lift up my brothers and sisters in prayer, who are being aggressively attacked, ridiculed and even persecuted for righteousness sake, for speaking the truth.
Look down in pity on Your children and on all who are being systematically targeted by a government that is causing increasing number of people to find themselves in severe hardships, having lost their homes and families, their livilhood and dignity.
Lord, I know that nothing is going to change the downward spiral that we are currently facing, but Lord, I pray that despite the disasters we face, that You will bring good out of evil. I ask Lord, that the lies that are being perpetrated in some of the highest corridors of power in the land will be the tool that will bring many people to salvation in Christ Jesus and bring them to trust in the eternal truth of Your Word. I know that until You come to set up Your millennial kingdom on earth, nothing will breach the tide of evil that is sweeping over our land. Have pity on us and our country and guide us into all truth I pray. In Jesus' name,

Heavenly Father, we praise and thank You that You are the most High God Who rules in the kingdom of men. You set up leaders in their various offices and remove them by Your mighty will.
Father, we lift up the leaders of our country and all those that You have set up in places of authority to rule and govern our nation, both political and religious, and we pray that they would rule our land and the many institutions with wisdom and integrity.
We pray that each one would carry out their various responsibilities with honesty and for the benefit of the nation. Clothe each one with righteousness and justice, and we pray that all selfish ambitions would be laid aside, and that Your plans and purposes are fulfillled for the well-being of all citizens.
May Your ways be known in our country and Your name be lifted up in the corridors of power. Guide our country we pray, into the ways of peace, justice and truth. This we ask in Jesus' name,

Loving Father, at a time when there is increasing unrest and growing fear of what is coming on the earth, we bring before You the leaders of the various nations of the world, and pray that in Your grace and mercy You would intervene and help those that are suffering so greatly in so many nations.
We pray that world leaders would seek after wisdom and justice, mercy and truth, freedom, godly grace and a desire to know You more and more. We pray that those that are deliberately opposing Your will and pushing an anti-God agenda, would be removed from their office and that their plans and purposes would be exposed, and become ineffective.
We grieve for those that are living in war-torn countries of where there is much blood-shed, corruption and unrest in their governments, and pray that in Your pity and grace You would intervene, by removing corrupt leaders and replacing them with those of integrity.
But Lord, we also know that until the Lord Jesus returns as Prince of Pease to set up His millennial kingdom, the current unrest, wars and rumours of wars, corruption and distress will continue. And so we pray that You would be merciful to those that are suffering due to the increasing unrest and fear that is sweeping the nations of the world today. This we ask in Jesus' name,

Dear Lord, You know the desire of my heart, and how You have been gently leading me to this very point in my life. Thank You, for all the lessons I have learned so far and make me willing, I pray, to continue to be ready to listen to Your gentle promptings.
Lord, I come to You as I make preparation for the next step in my life and ministry. Lord, I want to remain right in the centre of Your will and ask that by Your love and grace, You would continue to give me Your gracious promoting along my path.
As I prepare to move into this new position of leadership in this exciting ministry, keep me low before the cross. May all I say and do be guided by You alone. Keep me from hankering after the praises of men, but rather, Lord, give me a teachable Spirit that comes from You, so that I may be pleasing in Your sight.
Endow me with wisdom and give me the servant spirit of Christ that I may lead by example. Keep me from compromising the truth of Your Word, and may I run the race that is set before me with patient endurance, looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of my faith, in Whose name I pray,

Dear Lord, I lift up all those that are in leadership position in our government, both locally and nationally. May they be endowed with wisdom, strength and justice to administer their duties in a manner that is right and pleasing in Your sight.
Give them the wisdom to rightly and justly administer the law and to carry out their judgements and decisions in the fear of the Lord.
Keep our leaders from adopting humanistic laws, which are so contrary to Your truth. Guard their consciences from being seared by so much that is flooding the corridors of world power today and give each one wisdom, insight and integrity in the decisions they have to reach, and may we live peaceably in this land as we wait for the any day return of the Lord Jesus Christ to take His church to be with Him into heaven. Loving Father, I thank You for our Church leaders that You have appointed
I pray that they would love Jesus with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength, and that their ministry would never steal from them their first love, Jesus Christ. I pray that they would love and serve their wives and family with glad hearts, and that their family would have love for the ministry instead of resenting it for “stealing” their husband and daddy away.
I pray for a passion, for conviction and dedication to their calling and to Jesus Christ. I pray that they will walk in confidence while kneeling in humility as gentle shepherds who care for their sheep. I pray for encouragement in their faith and ministry, and against those who attack, slander, harm, or speak evil against them. I pray that their teaching and preaching will be accurate, true, bold, convicting, encouraging, anointed, and Christ-centred. I pray that God will guard them from burnout and depression. I pray that they will never fall prey to envy, jealousy, insecurity, or comparison. I pray for their holiness and purity, and against lust, affairs, love of money, and pride.
I pray for rest spiritually and physically, and that they know that it is not their ministry they are leading, but God’s. I pray that they will finish better than they started. I pray that they will take time to have fun, do things they enjoy, spend time with their wives and play with the kids, and get away often to find peace and solitude. I pray for God to raise up people around them to assist them, serve them, honour them, encourage them, pray for them, admonish them, and protect them.
I pray that ministry, teaching, preaching, and leading will never become a chore for them, but that it would always be a joy and blessing to serve the Lord and His people with kindness and gladness, and that they would enjoy every aspect of leading, whether easy or hard, for the glory of God.

Dear Heavenly Father, I lift up the wives of our Church leaders, knowing that this can often be a difficult and a lonely calling. I pray that You would give them the grace and wisdom to support their husbands in their important calling, and may they be a godly support and encouragement in the many tasks that they are called to do.
Thank You for each one, and I pray that they may be endowed with the wisdom and grace to support their own husbands in a biblical manner, so that their lives become a testimony to the love and grace of the Lord Jesus Christ in their lives.
I ask for Your protection for each one from the wiles of the devil, who will seek to disrupt their homes, families, marriages and duties, and I pray that they may learn to stand firm together in Christ amidst the trials and difficulties of life, that they will inevitably be required to face. May each one grow in grace and in a knowledge of Jesus Christ, and may their homes be a place of peace and joy in the Lord. In Jesus' name I pray,

Loving Lord, I bring before You the many leaders of the world, and those in high positions, knowing that the nation whose God is the Lord is a blessed nation indeed. I pray for those leaders around the world, who are seeking to abide by the truth of Your law. May they be tools, used by You, to maintain justice and righteousness in their respective positions and nations.
I particularly lift up those men and women whom You have called into national leadership positions and pray that they will give You first place in their lives. May they seek You diligently in prayer when they are called upon to make difficult decisions that affect the lives of so many people.
Lead and guide them into all truth and guard them from the ridicule that Christian leaders of our nations inevitably have to face in a world that has predominantly abandoned the truth of Scripture.
Lord, I lift up all kings, governors and those in high positions, and pray that You will bring many to faith in the Lord Jesus, so that we may all live peaceably in this world into which You have placed us.
Protect our nation O Lord I pray, and bring us back to a nation whose God is the Lord. In Jesus' name I pray,

Heavenly Father, I acknowledge that You are a gracious and merciful God, but I also know that you are also holy and righteous and cannot and will not look upon sin.
Be merciful I pray, to the nations whose leaders have turned their backs on You and the Lord Jesus Christ, Whom You sent to die for their sins. Be merciful to all those in positions of power who are seeking to implement a humanistic and anti-god agenda. Be merciful to those men and women in high places that are seeking to remove all vestiges of Christianity and the One true God from their nation’s laws and rules.
Have mercy on the leaders who have deliberately rejected Your path of truth and justice, and bring them to saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. In Jesus' name,

Loving Lord, we thank You for the heritage and gift of children and recognize that among today’s young people, we have those who will become future leaders, teachers and pioneers, and who may one day become influential in forging the future direction of our society and take up the responsibilities for leading families, nations and the church into the future.
Lord, we pray that they may be endowed with wisdom and grow up in the fear and nurture of the Lord. Direct and govern their steps we pray, and may they find favor with God and man, being grounded in integrity and honesty, wisdom and grace.
We pray that they may walk in righteousness and truth, humility and grace and seek to live in peace with all men, without compromise and without prejudice. May they keep the Word of God as their protective shield, and be guarded against the lies, deceit and envy of fallen man.
Guard and guide those that will become societies future leaders, teachers and pioneers and may they hold fast to that which is good, live in peace with one another, admonish the unruly, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with everyone, never repaying evil for evil, but always seeking after that which is good for one another, to Your praise and glory. Pour out Your Spirit we pray, on Christian leaders and those that are guiding or teaching a little flock of believers. May there be a reawakening of the desperate need for each Christian believer to stand transparent before our God, and to give the Holy Spirit permission to search out the inner thoughts of our hearts, so that He may identify each and every area of our inner life that grieves Him or quenches His working within our lives.
Lord, we all need to repent not only individually but as the body of Christ for the careless ways into which so many of us have slipped. Help us to remember the spiritual heights from whence we have fallen and to return to You and Your standards. Help us to seek Your face, not only individually but corporately, as the body of Christ and as Your representative Church on earth.
We pray that this may be the inner challenge for many leaders and pastors as well as those whom they lead. Give each one a deep desire for their own inner cleansing and sense of spiritual brokenness before You, so that those they teach would be similarly challenged to lay bare their own hearts before the inner scrutiny of the Spirit within.
Revive the hearts and spirits of those that have been gifted as pastors or called to be elders in their various church groups and assemblies. May each one seek Your face and give them a renewed urgency to humble themselves before You, so that they can encourage others to keep their eyes on Jesus. In Jesus' name we pray,
