Heavenly Father, thank You for revealing Yourself through the lovely Lord Jesus Who is the visible image of Your invisible glory. Thank You for His amazing example of how each one of Your children have been called to live. Praying through John 14:12

Heavenly Father, thank You that Jesus Christ came into the world to save us from our sins, to die on the cross for the forgiveness of sins and that all Who believe on Him have life everlasting. Help me to carry out the work that You have prepared for me to do while there are still souls that need to know the truth of the glorious gospel of grace - that Christ died for our sins, that He was buried and rose again so that all who believe on Him will not perish but have everlasting life. This I ask in Jesus name, AMEN

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.”

Praying through John 14:15

Heavenly Father, thank You that Christ died for my sins, and rose again to give me His new, resurrected life so that in the power of the Spirit, I may love as He loved. Lord, I cannot love as Christ loves in my own fleshly strength, but only as I submit to the work of Your Holy Spirit, only as I walk in spirit and truth. May the love of Christ flow through me to others so that Christ’s love is seen in me. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.

“If ye love me, keep my commandments.”

Teach Me To Abide In You

Oh, thank You Lord Jesus, my heavenly Vine, for the fullness of Your blessing towards me. I want to know and understand more and more of what it means to simply rest in You. May I abide in You, in sweet union with my Saviour and remain in blessed communion with You in ever closer intimacy.

Teach me, Lord, and train me to rest in Your love. Guard me and guide under the shelter of Your canopy, and reveal more and more of Yourself to me I pray,

Amen.

“And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;”

Thank You, Father, for sending Your Holy Spirit to be with me always, and to live within me. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.

Praying through John 14:27

Thank You, Father, for Your words of comfort. Help me to keep these precious words of Jesus at the forefront of my mind in this increasingly anti-God society, when the very foundations of earth are being shaken and all I believe in is being attacked. May my life be a walking witness to all I meet. Thank You that Your grace is sufficient, Your strength is made perfect in my weakness, Your peace passes understanding, and Your promises endure throughout all generations. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.

“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

Heavenly Father, thank You that in Christ I have been brought back into fellowship with You and adopted into Your family. I pray that I may live my life to the glory of God and that I may carry out Your will and purpose in my life, not in my own strength but in utter dependence on You and in total submission to the Holy Spirit so that the life of Christ may be lived through me. To Your praise and glory, AMEN.

“But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.”
