Praying through Psalm 31:1

Loving Father, like David, I have taken my refuge in You and I trust in Your sure Word and never-failing promises. For Your righteous name's sake, I pray that You will deliver me out of the difficulties I am facing today. Please give me the grace to get through. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.

“{To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.} In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness.”

Bedtime Prayer If I Die Before Waking

Lord how I thank You that my times are under Your control and authority.. and that nothing can pluck me out of Your hands, without Your knowledge and Your consent. Thank You for this day knowing that has been such a blessing and joy to me.. and thank You that every passing moment has been such a gracious gift and blessing from You.

I pray that You will bring me safely through the night.. but Lord should it be the time for me to breath my last breath in this world, I pray that I will rest securely in Your arms and be ready to meet You face to face.

Thank You that You have prepared a home for me in heaven and that my citizenship is not here on the earth but with You, in heavenly places - and I pray that when that day comes, when I shall see You as You are, that I will hear Your voice saying, “well done good and faithful servant.”

And so Lord I commit myself into Your hands knowing that whether I wake in the morning in this world or sleep into the next, that I am help securely in Your hands, through time and into eternity - thank You in Jesus name,

Amen

“Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O LORD God of truth.”

Praying through Psalm 31:19

Loving Father, You are good and gracious, and I love and trust You. Keep me under the shadow of Your wing, that I may be a light that reflects Your bountiful grace and eternal glory. May I shine Your light to the children of man, for whom Christ died. In His name I pray, AMEN.

Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!”

Prayer For Babies Safety

Dear Heavenly Father, You are a God Who has a special place for babies and young children in Your tender heart, and You know that we live in a fallen world where many babies and young children are often in danger, not only from external issues but even from those that care for them. And so we ask for Your loving protection to surround all babies and young children, and that You keep each one free from harm.

And so we entrust all vulnerable young children and tiny babies into Your loving hands for safe keeping, and pray that nothing evil will befall any one of them, and that they will be lovingly protected from any physical harm or emotional trauma.

Thank You, Lord, for hearing and answering prayer. May this generation of babies and toddlers grow up desiring to know more of You in the days that lie ahead. This we ask in Jesus' name,

Amen.

“Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.”
(Psalm 31:20)
