Praying through Hebrews 6:18

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your unchangeable Word, in which it is impossible for You to lie. Thank You for the truth of the Scriptures. Thank You for the great encouragement and hope that we have in Christ. Increase my faith, I pray, and may I live to Your praise and glory. In Jesus' name, AMEN.

“That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:”
(Hebrews 6:18)

Praying through Hebrews 6:1

Heavenly Father, I pray that I may mature in the faith and walk in the light, as He is in the light. Help me to move on from dabbling in the elementary teachings of Christianity and I pray that I may grow into a deeper awareness of all that You would teach me. Help me to grow in grace and in a knowledge of the Lord Jesus. Keep me walking in spirit and truth and enable me to learn patient endurance so that I may become perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. Help me to increasingly abide in Christ and He in me, to Your greater praise and glory. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.

“Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,”
(Hebrews 6:1)

Praying through Hebrews 6:10

Heavenly Father, You are a good and righteous God Whose faithfulness continues from one generation to the next. Thank You for my great salvation. Thank You for the opportunity I have to work to Your praise and to love others with the love that You first gave to me. May I live to each day of my life as unto the Lord, and I ask that You would give me opportunities to minister, in love, to the Body of Christ. Thank You that nothing we do ever goes unnoticed by You. May my life be a daily witness and living sacrifice to Your grace and goodness. This I ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.

“For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.”

Praying through Hebrews 6:13

Heavenly Father, how I praise and thank You for the promise you made to Abraham which has its fulfilment in all who trust in the Lord Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sin and life everlasting. Thank You that Your Word is true, Your promises are sure, and Your truth endures from one generation to the next. Thank You that in Christ, I have become part of that cloud of witnesses, both living and dead, who have been saved by grace through faith. In Jesus' name, AMEN.

“For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself,”

Praying through Hebrews 6:19

Loving Father, thank You for the wonderful reassurances of my security in Christ which You have graciously poured out upon me in such super-abundance and which You have confirmed throughout Your holy Word. I praise You for Your boundless grace and unchangeable character. Thank You that the Anchor of my soul is Jesus, my perfect heavenly Representative. Thank You that He has gained for me eternal access into Your holy presence within the veil through the willing sacrifice of Himself upon the Cross of Calvary. In Jesus' name, AMEN.

“Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;”

Praying through Hebrews 6:20

Heavenly Father, thank You for Jesus and all that He has done for me and for all who are born from above. Thank You that He is our heavenly High Priest Whose entrance in heaven guarantees our own position in the coming kingdom of Christ. Increase my understanding of Your Word and all that it teaches, and I pray that many, both Jew and Gentile alike, would come to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus and swell the numbers of those that are saved, by grace through faith in Him. This I ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.

“Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.”
