Praying through Genesis 6:5

Heavenly Father, thank You that despite the wickedness of the human heart and the evil intentions in the mind of fallen man, You determined from before the foundation of the earth to redeem Your creatures, and You chose to forgive the sins of those who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank You that all who believe on Him are declared righteous by Your grace. You are a good and gracious God Who forgives our iniquity, declares us righteous, and remembers our sin no more. Help me to walk in Your ways and to point others to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of my faith. In His name I pray, AMEN.

“And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.”

Praying through Genesis 6:8

Heavenly Father, thank You that You are a God of goodness and grace and for the example of Noah and other men and women of faith who trusted Your Word and discovered that You are a God Who credits our faith in You with righteousness. Thank You that Jesus came to earth to die on the cross for my sin - and that by believing on Him I have the forgiveness of sins and life everlasting - thank You in Jesus name, AMEN

“But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.”

Praying through Genesis 6:9

Heavenly Father, thank You for the beautiful example of Noah who was a man who believed in You, trusted Your Word, obeyed Your instructions, warned the wicked of the consequences of sin - and found grace in Your eyes because of his faith, which was credited to him as righteousness. Thank You that I too have found grace in Your eyes and have been declared righteous. I pray that I may walk in spirit and truth and remain blameless in Your eyes. Help me to boldly proclaim the glorious gospel of grace to the lost, and may my life be a witness to Your goodness and grace and a warning of the wrath that is to come. This I ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.

“These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.”
