Prayer for Esther 1

Choose Verse

Heavenly Father, thank You that no problem we face in our life; church fellowship; local community or nation is too difficult for You and that You are the God of the impossible. Thank You for the book of Esther and the many spiritual truths and life-principles we can learn from its pages. Thank You that You have a prefect plan for us and that nothing can thwart Your programme of redemption. Thank You that Your purpose for Israel can never be derailed and that the day is coming when all Israel will be saved and receive their promised inheritance, and thank You that Your purpose for the Church is being carried out and that the day is coming when we will receive our heavenly inheritance - Praise Your holy name, AMEN.

“Now it came to pass in the days of Ahasuerus, (this is Ahasuerus which reigned, from India even unto Ethiopia, over an hundred and seven and twenty provinces:)”

Heavenly Father, thank You for the many lessons we can learn from the little book of Esther and the many ungodly actions and attitudes that it exposes. Give me discernment to recognise those that seek to manipulate others through deceit and lies. Keep me from the destructive lusts of the flesh; the lust of the eyes and pride. Help me eschew the evil and seek only to do that which is righteous in Your eyes and lead me in the path of righteousness for His dear name's sake - it is in Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.

“If it please the king, let there go a royal commandment from him, and let it be written among the laws of the Persians and the Medes, that it be not altered, That Vashti come no more before king Ahasuerus; and let the king give her royal estate unto another that is better than she.”
