Prayer for 2 Corinthians 6

Choose Verse

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your amazing grace. Thank You that Christ died to pay the price for my sin, and thank You for that wonderful 'day of salvation', when Jesus rose from the dead, and broke the power of Satan, sin, death and hell in my life.. and in the lives of ALL who believe on Christ for the forgiveness of sin, and life everlasting. Bring, we pray, many who are in that valley of decisions to a saving faith in Christ, which gives assurance of sins forgiven, and life everlasting, through faith in Him - in Whose name we pray, AMEN.

“(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)”

Heavenly Father, thank You for the ministry and witness of Paul and the many things we can learn from his dedicated attitude in sharing the truth of the Gospel. We praise and thank You for the assurance that we also have, that You are our Defence and our Defender. Thank You that Your grace is sufficient, no matter what difficulties or dangers we may encounter. May You be glorified in our lives and may we speak the word of truth boldly and in the power of God, by clothing ourselves with Christ and taking up the weapons of righteousness, wherever we may go – this we ask in Jesus name, AMEN.

“By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,”

Heavenly Father, thank You that I am Your child and have been made a new creation in Christ. Help me to choose my friends and acquaintances wisely. Heavenly Father, what an incredible privilege to be Your child and to have the Holy Spirit living within my human frame. Thank You, Lord, that You have chosen to take up residence in the heart of all believers and that we have been given the 'ministry of reconciliation'. Thank You, Father, that in Your grace I have become New Creation in Christ, and am a member of His mystic body - and thank You that the Church is His representative on earth. Fulfil now O Lord the work that you have for me to do, and may I live for Your glory and consecrate my life to Your service - this I ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.

Father God, over the years I know that many times I have been enticed by the world, and each time I discover myself out of fellowship with You. I desire in word and deed, mind and motive to be separated unto You, in the power of the Holy Spirit and to Your praise and glory, in Jesus name I pray, AMEN.

“Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,”
