Praying through 2 Corinthians 10:1

Heavenly Father, thank You for the message and ministry of Paul. I pray that like Paul, I may be meek and gentle in my Christian witness, while being ready and willing to lovingly challenge false teachers, fearlessly expose false doctrines, earnestly contend for the faith, preach the word in season and out of season, and be ready to give an answer for the hope I have in Christ. I pray for wisdom and discernment so that I may not be tossed about by any wind of doctrine, but able to stand fast on the Word of truth. In Jesus' name, AMEN.

“Now I Paul myself beseech you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, who in presence am base among you, but being absent am bold toward you:”

Praying through 2 Corinthians 10:4

Heavenly Father, there are many that seek to demolish the truth of the glorious gospel of Christ through scornful sarcasm and ill-imagined philosophies. Thank You that in Christ, we have the Word of God and the power of prayer to demolish any long-winded, ungodly opinions of men with their impressive credentials and dismissive policies. May the words of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart reflect the truth of Your Word. May I depend on You to bring down all the strongholds and arguments that are fired against me that seek to discredit the truth of the glorious gospel of God. This I ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.

“(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)”

Praying through 2 Corinthians 10:5

Loving Father, too often my thoughts are not kept in captivity to obey You. Help me to become more and more captivated with Christ so that all else melts away as I gaze on the beauty of His presence within my heart. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.

“Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;”
