Dear Lord, Thank you for the gift family. Thank you that you make each one of us so uniquely different, with different ideas and different points of views. Thank you Lord for creating us in your image. I am sorry when I have fallen down and not treated those around me with love, understanding and forgiveness as you have shown us. Lord, help me to see my error in ways and how I have hurt those closest around me. Help my heart to soft toward old hurts that cause me to hear things in a different way than they were intended. Teach me to see each situation through your loving eyes. Most of all Lord, remind me of how precious our time here on earth and each passing day a chance to start new. Show me how to effectively use my gifts, of time and relationships, to glorify YOU. Help me to love my brother as only you can; help me to heal the hurts I have created. Bring our bound of brotherhood stronger than it has before with the understand our relationship is for a greater purpose. I ask this in your name, Jesus. Amen
