Praying through Song of Solomon 2:6

Loving Father, thank You for choosing me and bringing me into Your family, as part of the Body of Christ. Thank You that in Christ I have all I need, for He is my joy, He is my strength, He is my wisdom, and He is my coming Bridegroom. In His name I pray, AMEN.

“His left hand is under my head, and his right hand doth embrace me.”

Praying through Song of Solomon 2:8

Heavenly Father, thank You for the beautiful love story between the Shulamite woman and the Shepherd-King of Israel. Thank You for showing me the importance of keeping my first love alive while watching expectantly and excitedly for His soon return. Thank You that there has always been a little remnant of believers who, down through centuries of time, have trusted Your Word and remained faithful to the truth of the glorious gospel of God. I praise Your name that I am positioned in Christ and protected by His love. Thank You that Your promises to Israel remain faithful and true and that He will one day spread His banner of love over them, when they recognise Him as their Shepherd-King, their God, and their Saviour. I offer these prayers in the matchless name of Jesus Christ, my Shepherd and Saviour, AMEN.

“The voice of my beloved! behold, he cometh leaping upon the mountains, skipping upon the hills.”

Praying through Song of Solomon 2:10

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You that I am Your child and accepted in the Beloved. Help me to be prepared for His any day return to take me to be with Himself. Help me wait patiently and expectantly for the appointed time when the trumpet shall sound and the Lord Jesus shall descend from heaven to take His Bride to be with Himself forever. Praise Your holy name! AMEN

“My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away.”
