Heavenly Father, how blessed we are to have Your Word which reminds us in so many ways what a faithful God You are.. and how necessary it is to trust You in all things. Help me to examine my own life so that I may set my house in order.. for I want to be in the middle of Your will, moment by moment and day by day - this I ask in Jesus name, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, thank You for the beautiful reminder in the book of Ruth, that no-one is outside Your offer of salvation, and that no matter how far we have strayed away from Your loving arms, You are ready and willing to bring us back into fellowship with Yourself. We praise and thank You that no one is beyond redemption and no matter how far we have strayed You are ready and willing to open Your arms of love to the prodigal. Thank You for Your goodness and grace and pray that many who have wandered far from You would find their hope in Jesus – in Whose name we pray, AMEN.
Thank You Father for the Bible and the wonderful truths that is contains. Thank You for using people like Ruth, to demonstrate such devotion to You, leaving every trace of this world behind in order to seek after the one true and living God. Keep me low at the cross so that I may worship You in humble devotion all the days of my life, and thank You that You loved me so much that the Lord Jesus became my Kinsman-Redeemer and bought me back from slavery to sin into the family of God - to Whom be all praise and glory, AMEN.
