Lord take my life and let it be consecrated to You. Take my life my Lord - I pour it out as a living sacrifice to You. Praise Your holy name for the amazing gift of salvation that You have given to me by grace, through faith - You alone are worthy of my eternally love and praise for ever and ever AMEN.

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.”

Times of Healing and Spiritual Renewal

Loving Father, I know that You often halt us in our tracks and remove us from the business of life, through an illness or a time of ill-health - so that we are forced take our eyes off the hurly-burly of life, and lie on an enforced bed of sickness - in order to rediscover what are our true priorities are in life.

Father, I know that I have not spent quality time with You, as I have allowed the daily duties of life and less-important issues to crowd out my special time alone in Your presence.

Forgive me I pray. I want to use this time of ill-health as an opportunity to get closer to You. Lead me and guide me in this time of illness - and may it become a time of spiritual as well as a period of physical rest.

Heal me Father I pray, not only in my body but also in my relationship with You,

Thank you,

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

Heavenly Father, thank You for Jesus and that I have been saved by grace through faith in His finished work. Thank You that my salvation does not rely on what I have done but on what Christ has already done on my account. Thank You that while I was still a sinner Christ died for me and that by faith in Him, I have received spiritual gifts and graces, which are to be used for His glory. I pray that I may do all to the glory of God and present my body as a living sacrifice unto You - in Jesus name I pray, AMEN.

“For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.”

Heavenly Father, I thank You for Paul's amazing epistle to the Romans, which outlines so clearly the fundamentals of our faith and the behaviour that You desire from all Your blood-bought children. Help me to live my life to Your praise and glory and I pray that the love of God fill me to all fullness and flows through me to others. I pray that I may cling to what is good and abhor all that is evil and I ask that my love be without hypocrisy - as I abide in Christ and He in me. AMEN

Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.”

Loving Father, thank You for the Word of God and the godly instructions that are laid out for the Church - especially in the epistles of Paul. In hope, may I rejoice – in tribulation, may I endure and in prayer may I persevere, as I press on to the goal of my calling, in Jesus name I pray, AMEN.

Prayer For Fathers Mourning An Abortion

Loving Lord, we lift before You the fathers of aborted babies and the emotional trauma that can often affect them, knowing that they are often excluded from the decision to terminate a pregnancy.

We pray that You would be close to those who have been left emotionally distraught and grieving for the little life that they were denied.

We pray Your comfort upon all men who have been affected by abortion in this way and ask that You would give solace and succour to all who are grieving for the son or daughter that they will never see. This we ask in Jesus name,

“Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.”
