Healing Prayer For A Lonely Person

Oh Lord, I am ill and feel frightened and alone as I have no one to care for me. I have no one who is really interested in me at all, and I feel lost and alone and so vulnerable. And now Lord Jesus, I have come down with this sickness and I feel so ill. Lord, I ask You please to make me well again soon, and lift up my sagging spirit, I pray.

I know Lord in my heart that I am not alone, because You are with me, which is the real reason that I am praying to You now, because You promised to be with me and never to leave me or forsake me, even when everyone else does. Be with me now I pray, and reach out Your healing hand of blessing and touch me Lord. Please make me feel better, not only in my body but also in my life, I pray.

Thank You, that I can call on You in times of trouble or illness or loneliness, and know that You are always there to hear and answer, to heal and comfort and help. Lord, I pray that You would help me to really apply this truth in my life, not just when I am sick, but every day.

Amen.

Praying through Psalm 118:8

Heavenly Father, thank You that You are my God and that there is nothing that man can do to harm or unsettle me. I pray that the eyes of my heart may remain fixed and focused on You.. with reverential fear and a childlike trust. Keep my heart from the fear of man for You have promised that those that trust in You are kept safe from all adversaries, thank You in Jesus name, AMEN.

It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.”

Praying through Psalm 118:22

Heavenly Father, thank You that in Your grace I have come to saving faith in the Lord Jesus, the precious Cornerstone on Whom my faith is founded. Thank You that Jesus was willing to come to earth and be despised and rejected so that He could become the chief Cornerstone and the Rock on which I stand. I praise and thank You for Your goodness and grace, Your kindness, loyalty, and deliverance in times of trouble. Thank You that in Christ, I need not fear those that would oppress and destroy me. How I praise Your name that You provide healing in times of trouble, comfort in times of sorrow, light in times of darkness, freedom for those that are enslaved, restoration for all that are broken-hearted, strength in days of weakness, and hope in times of distress. I give thanks unto the Lord, for You are good and Your mercy endures forever, AMEN.

Praying through Psalm 118:28

Heavenly Father, how I praise and thank You that by grace through faith I have come to recognize You as the Messiah of Israel, Saviour of the world and God of the universe, Who loved me so much that You came to earth to die on the cross to pay the price for my sin. I praise and thank You for Your grace towards me and for Your never-failing faithfulness to Your people Israel - and we look forward to that wonderful day when the nation, the leaders the priests and the people will gather together in praise and thanksgiving to welcome Jesus as their Messiah, their Saviour, their Lord and their God, in Whose name we pray, AMEN.
