Praying through Proverbs 14:12

Heavenly Father, thank You for the many principles and precepts that are so helpful and encouraging in the book of Proverbs. I pray that I would apply these wise concepts in my own life and that I would trust in You in all things, not seeking to do anything according to my own limited understanding. Give me discernment, I pray, and keep me from all forms of self-delusion and self-deception. May I never be foolish enough to journey along the path that may seem right to me, but ends in destruction. Thank You that You have promised to guide my steps. May my ear be ever open to Your direction. This I ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.

“There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.”
(Proverbs 14:12)

Prayers For Those That Are In Need

Dear God, I know that it is Your will to help those that are afflicted, to support the weak, to provide for the widows and orphans and to help those that are in need.

Use my hands to be of service to those in need, and use my voice to speak words of healing and encouragement to those that are afflicted and in distress. Thank You for hearing my prayer. In Jesus' name,

Amen.

“He that oppresseth the poor reproacheth his Maker: but he that honoureth him hath mercy on the poor.”
