Prayer for Luke 22:19

“And He took bread, gave thanks, broke it, gave it to them, and said, "This is My body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of Me."”

Praying through Luke 22:19

Loving Father, it is staggering to try to realise that God Himself took on mortal flesh - so that He could come and pay the price for my sin - so that I could be forgiven. It is indeed a thing of eternal wonderment that God should clothe Himself in human flesh to become the only possible sacrifice for sin. It is a thing of everlasting thanksgiving that Christ broke His body and spilt His life-blood so that by believing on His name, I might have everlasting life. For this, I praise Your name forever and ever, AMEN.
