Praying through Luke 20:17

Heavenly Father, thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus, to be the Rock of my salvation. I praise You that the Stone that was rejected 2000 years ago is the Cornerstone of my faith and that through Him, I have become part of the Household of God. Thank You for my salvation in Him and that Your grace is sufficient for everything I may face. May I live my life to Your honour and glory. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.

“And he beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner?”
(Luke 20:17)

Praying through Luke 20:19

Heavenly Father, what a blatant display of ignorance the chief priests and scribes displayed, with their constant questioning of Jesus’ authority. They knew Who He claimed to be, but their greed, pride, and fear stopped them from believing in Him. The stone that the builders rejected did become the capstone, and the unbelieving members of the Sanhedrin will be crushed, along with all unbelievers. Lord, thank You that I am numbered in those who have fallen on the stone, and my prideful self was broken when I believed on the name of the Lord Jesus. Keep me low at the Cross and broken before You all the days of my life. In Jesus' name, AMEN.

“And the chief priests and the scribes the same hour sought to lay hands on him; and they feared the people: for they perceived that he had spoken this parable against them.”
