Praying through Luke 18:1

Loving Father, help me, I pray, to remain clean before You in thought, word, and deed, so that I may maintain that attitude of unbroken communion with You. In Jesus' name, AMEN.

Praying through Luke 18:7

Heavenly Father, help me to maintain a trusting attitude of prayer, knowing that any perceived delay is Your willing preparation. Thank You that You are holy and righteous and will avenge Your elect and make all things right in Your own perfect timing. Thank You that You are my Father, and I am Your child. In Jesus' name, AMEN.

“And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?”

Praying through Luke 18:27

Heavenly Father, thank You for the incredible gift of salvation that You have offered us through faith in Your beloved Son, Jesus Christ. I am humbled by Your love and grace, and cannot comprehend how You could love me so much that You sent Your only begotten Son to die in my place. I am forever grateful for His sacrifice and thank You for the impossible being made possible. Help me to never take for granted the gift of salvation and to remember the great cost it took for fallen man to be made righteous in Your eyes. Increase my faith, and fill me with a longing to share the good news with others, that they too may be saved. Thank You for the privilege of being able to approach Your throne and to call You Father. I am ever grateful for all that You have done. In Jesus' name, AMEN.

“And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”

Praying through Luke 18:41

Heavenly Father, thank You for opening my eyes to the beautiful gospel of the grace of God. Lord, I ask that You would guide me into all truth and that You would protect me from false teachings and doctrines of demons. I pray that I may grow in grace and in a knowledge of the Lord Jesus, and that You would use me to forward Your plans and purposes as You see fit in my life. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.

“Saying, What wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight.”
