Praying through Exodus 33:14

Heavenly Father, thank You that You are a God Who is faithful and true and Who has promised to be with us as we journey through life and give us Your rest - just as You did for Your people, Israel. Thank You for the godly example of Moses who was jealous for the honour of Your name and was quick to intercede for Your people when they became obstinate and stiff-necked. Thank You that I have the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit to lead and to guide me through the journey of life, and thank You, Father, that my rest and redemption is secure in Christ Jesus my Lord, in Whose name I pray, AMEN.

“And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.”

Praying through Exodus 33:15

Heavenly Father, thank You for the lessons You teach me through the history of Israel. Thank You that Your promises to them never failed, and just as Your presence remained with them, despite their disobedience, I thank You that Your promises to me are also 'Yes' and 'Amen' in Christ Jesus - my Kinsman-Redeemer. Thank You that I too have found grace in Your eyes and I pray that I would walk worthy of my calling. Thank You that in Your grace I am held safe and secure. Praise Your Holy name, AMEN.

“And he said unto him, If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence.”

Praying through Exodus 33:22

Heavenly Father, thank You for the wonderful way that You led and guided Your people Israel, despite their constant murmuring and lack of faith. Thank You that I have been born again in Christ and am seated with Him in heavenly places. Although I may not have seen Your glory with my physical eyes, I thank You, Father, that my spiritual eyes have been opened to Your truth and that I have been baptised into the Body of Christ. Thank You that I have the Holy Spirit of glory indwelling my body and am eternally positioned in Christ. May I live and work to Your praise and glory, for the rest of my life. This I ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.

“And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by:”
