Prayer for Daniel 9

Prayer For Forgiveness After and Abortion

Heavenly Father we lift up all those women and mothers whose hearts are aching because of their decision to have an abortion and who are now riddled with guilt, because of their choices.

We also lift up those whose freely chose to abort their babies, based on their own selfishness attitude.. thinking that a baby in their life would spoil the prearranged plans they had made or inhibit their desired destiny.

We pray Your mercy and forgiveness over each one and ask that in a very special way You would come alongside each woman who has made a decision to terminate their pregnancy – and meet each one at their very point of need.

Comfort those that are grieving, support those that are weak and convict those that have rejected the sacredness of a human life – and bring each one we pray, to a saving faith in the Lord Jesus, and an assurance of Your gracious forgiveness. This we ask in Jesus name.

Amen

“To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against him;”

Heavenly Father, we praise and thank You for the wonderful example of Daniel, who was a man of prayer who knew the Scriptures, trusted Your Word, prayed into Your will and translated the needs of his fellow men into humble confession and godly intercession. I pray that I may be one that studies to show myself approved unto God.. come to a deeper understanding of Your perfect character and be guided by the Holy Spirit to pray into Your will - to Your praise and glory, in Jesus name I pray, AMEN.

“And whiles I was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the LORD my God for the holy mountain of my God;”

Gratitude For Answered Prayer

Thank You Father for Your goodness and mercy to me, and to all men, which is new every morning and for the wonderful answers to prayer for which I praise and glorify Your name.

Thank You that I have access to the throne of grace, to find mercy and grace to help in time of need and day by day I praise and thank  You  hear that You hear and answer the cries of my heart and supply all my needs according to Your riches in glory.

Thank You Lord for the simple things in life that we so often take for granted.. the sun and stars;  the flowers and trees; our daily food and clothing;  my home and family and the peace and joy that comes from knowing You.

Thank You also for sharing in my sorrows and joys; and for the sufficient grace and strength that we receive day by day and thank You Lord for dying for me on the cross as my Redeemer – paying the price for my sins so that I may have Your life and live with You in heaven forever. May my heart be truly thankful and may I live my life in a manner that is pleasing to You to Your honour and glory, in Jesus name I pray,

Amen

“At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to shew thee; for thou art greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision.”

Heavenly Father, thank You for revealing to us Your plans and purposes for both the Church, which is You Body and also for Your chosen people, Israel. Help us not to become so consumed with the letter of the prophetic Scriptures that we fail to recognize that One about Whom all Scripture speak and through Whom all prophecy will finally be fulfilled. Thank You Father for all that Jesus achieved through His death and resurrection. Thank You that He is interceeding for each of us in heavenly places and thank You for the many promises that are ours by grace through faith in HIM - to Whom be all praise and glory, for ever and ever, AMEN.

“Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.”
(Daniel 9:24)

For God’s Strength In Troubled Times

Thank You Lord that You are my refuge and my strength in hard times and an ever present helper in times of trouble. Help me to cling to You and this truth from the Bible, that You keep bringing to my mind.

I know that You are the only, all-powerful God and that there is nothing that is too difficult in my life for You to deal with – nor is there any obstacle in my path that is so insurmountable that I cannot cross – knowing that You are by my side.

Give me I pray Your strength to face today’s hard and troubled times with the confidence of knowing that Your strength is made perfect in my weakness. Thank YOU that my strength comes from You and that Your grace is sufficient for all the tasks and duties that will cross my daily path – not only for today but for the rest of my journey through life.

Thank YOU Father that Your grace is sufficient – help me to meditate on this truth every day,

Amen
“Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.”

Heavenly Father, thank You for the amazing prophecy in the book of Daniel and for telling us what is shortly to take place, so that we can put our house in order and tell others the truth of the glorious gospel of grace - while there is still time. Thank You that I have been saved by grace through faith, and have an assurance that I have an inheritance, reserved for me in heaven. But Lord. there are many who do not know the glorious truth that Christ died for their sins and rose again, to save all who would believe in Him.. for the forgiveness of their sin. Give me an evangelistic heart, so that I may proclaim the gospel of grace - and warn the unsaved.. that today is the day of salvation. This I ask in Jesus name, AMEN.

“And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.”
