Prayer Of Gratitude For All Of God’s Gifts

Oh Lord our God what a joy it is to open my eyes in the morning and to remember all of Your loving-kindness towards us all - and for the many gifts and graces that we enjoy day by day.

Thank You for shelter from the cold and for the rest and refreshment that is gained with a good nights sleep. Thank You for the joy of opening my eyes to a fresh day, where Your mercies are new every morning – what a wonderful and faithful God You are.

Thank You for my health and my home. Thank You for my family and my friends. Thank You for the many good gifts that You have been pleased to bestow on all Your children. Oh, thank You that You are my Father and that Christ Jesus is my Saviour –and thank You Lord, that I have the indwelling Holy Spirit to lead and to guide – to comfort and help - for I am never alone because You are ever by my side… Praise Your holy name for all the good gifts that You have graciously given me, in such rich abundance -in Jesus name I pray,

Amen
“Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.”

Heavenly Father, thank You for Jesus and that all things were made by Him and for Him. I realise that without Him there is no meaning in life. Keep me from being influenced by the enticing arguments, idle philosophies and crude notions of human traditions, which inevitably look for answers to life, anywhere except to the truth, which is only found in the Lord Jesus Christ as recorded in the Word of God. Thank You that He is the only way, the only truth and the only life. May I grow in grace and in a knowledge of Jesus day by day AMEN.

“Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.”

Loving Father thank You for this wonderful truth that Christ is ALL I need, that He is my completely sufficiency in all things and that in Christ I have already been made complete, simply because I trusted His name. Thank You Father, in Jesus name I pray, AMEN.

Dear heavenly Father, what a thrilling truth – that I am spiritually complete through my union with Christ Jesus, my Saviour. Teach me all I need to know to become more and more like Jesus with every passing day, I ask in His name, AMEN.

Loving Father, thank You that I am Your child. I want to offer my life as a living sacrifice unto You, knowing that only in Christ can I be separated from this world – and that as I live in Him, so He will live through me, in His name I pray, AMEN.

Heavenly Father, how I praise and thank You, for Your wonderful plan of redemption. How amazing to think that Christ identified with me and my sin, so that I could be identified with Him and His righteousness. Thank You that by faith I have been crucified with Christ buried with Him, and raised into newness of life. Thank You that I have been taken out of the old creation in Adam and identified with the new creation in Christ. How I praise You, that the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead, is now working in me - so that the power of sin and death, is broken in my life. Thank You in Jesus name, AMEN.

“Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.”

Heavenly Father, thank You for the truth of Your word, that we have been made alive together with Christ and that we are accepted in HIM. Thank You that by His death and resurrection I have been forgiven of all my sins. Thank You that in Christ I have been brought back into eternal fellowship with You. Help me to walk in the light and to be a light to those that are dead in their trespasses and separated from the Father, and I pray that You would use me as a witness to the glorious gospel of grace, to those with whom I come in contact today, in Jesus name, AMEN.

Lord, I confess my need for a Saviour and praise Your name that you took away, forever, the punishment I deserve. Eternity seems insufficient time to thank You for your glorious sacrifice. I pray for those that are blinded to this wonderful truth and ask that You use me as an instrument to point those I meet today to the saving cross of Christ, In Jesus name, AMEN.

Heavenly Father, I lift my voice in triumphant praise and joyful thanks for Christ's victory over sin, Satan, death and hell. Without Christ's willingness to suffer and die on the cross on my account, I would still be a slave to sin, under Satan's dominion, a transgressor of the law and estranged from You. But You have set me free through the shed blood of your dearly beloved Son - by grace through faith, so that I may love and worship You in spirit and in truth. I praise and thank You that You have already disarmed the satanic rulers and authorities and triumphed over them - making them a public example.. and pray that I may live my life as unto the Lord - in Jesus name I pray, AMEN.

And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.”

Heavenly Father, thank You that Christ died for me and paid the full price that was required of a guilty sinner. Thank You that in Him I am no longer under the curse of the Law and required to follow any religious rule and ritual, but have become part of a new creation, that is identified with Christ and His righteousness. Thank You that I am no longer under the old cursed creation, but am part of the new creation in Christ. Help me to live as Christ lived, to love as Christ loved and to do only those things that are pleasing in Your sight. Thank You, in Jesus name, AMEN.

Heavenly Father, thank You that Christ is the substance and reality of our faith, and that in Him we have been freed from slavery to sin. Thank You that we have been released from the bondage of legalistic rules, rituals and regulations, which were a mere shadow of things to come. Thank You for the wonderful way that you designed the Law, and the many Jewish rites, rituals, feasts and assignments, to be shadows of things to come, in order to point us to Christ, Who is the hope of our calling, and in Whose name we pray, AMEN

“Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.”

Heavenly Father, thank You for the wise warnings of Paul to the Church of Christ. Help us to be increasingly aware of the dangers of allowing the enemy of our soul to defraud us of our heavenly rewards, by falling for foolish flattery, deceptive practices, worldly philosophies and other empty deceptions of religious pretenders. Keep me low at the cross and broken before You and safeguard me from developing any false humility or from becoming egotistical and fleshly minded. Keep me safe from those that imagine that they have extra biblical access to the visionary sphere or who have become overly obsessed with the angelic realm. May my life die to my own desires and live for Christ, day by day - this I as in for His names sake, AMEN.

“Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,”

Thank You Father for the wonderful truths that are clearly revealed for us in Your word. Thank You for the many warnings against the false teachings and destructive philosophies that can ruin our testimony, stunt our spiritual growth and render our lives as fruitless. I pray that I may abide in Christ and He in me and that by Your grace I will mature in the faith and produce much fruit for Your praise and glory – and not me only Lord but may all those who have been called by Your name bear much fruit for Your greater praise and glory – this I ask in Jesus name, AMEN.

Heavenly Father, help me to reject the basic principles and religious practises of the world, that are so strong in the heart of fallen man. Thank You for reminding me, once again, that by faith I died with Christ and my life is hid with Christ, in God. May I never forget that I am no longer part of this fallen world system, but a citizen of heaven and identified with Christ's righteousness. Keep me from being influenced by the elementary principles and practices of this fallen world and may I live in a way that demonstrates that I am part of the new creation in Christ, and one with Him, in thought, word and deed. This I ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.
