Praying through Acts 3:13

Heavenly Father, how I praise and thank You that You are a gracious God who turned the evil plans and purposes of the enemy into the greatest victory the world has ever known. I praise Your holy name for ever and ever, AMEN.

“The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go.”
(Acts 3:13)

Praying through Acts 3:19

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word of truth. Help me to read it with understanding and to learn all the lessons that You would teach me. I pray that I may live a godly life to Your praise and glory, as I look forward to that day when Israel will finally receive their promised times of refreshing, and we will all worship together at Your feet. In Jesus' name, AMEN.

“Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;”
(Acts 3:19)

Praying through Acts 3:22

Heavenly Father, thank You for the amazing book of Acts and for insight into those early days of the Christian Church, when many in Israel had their eyes opened to the truth of the glorious gospel of Christ. How wonderful that they recognised Him as the Prophet greater than Moses and the King greater than David. Thank You that because Israel rejected the Lord in those early days of Christendom, the gospel has been opened to every person in every nation who will trust in Him for the forgiveness of sin and life everlasting. Thank You for my salvation, and I pray for Jews around the world who have not yet had their eyes open to the truth. Open the understanding of all who are seeking the truth but have not yet believed on Christ for salvation. May Your name be glorified throughout all the earth, and may many come to faith in Jesus while there is still time. In Jesus' precious name, AMEN.

“For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.”
(Acts 3:22)

Praying through Acts 3:26

Loving Father, I pray You would look down in blessing on Your chosen nation of Israel. Thank You that through them we received the Scriptures, the promises, and the Messiah, our Saviour Jesus Christ. Thank You that you never rejected Israel, even though they crucified Your Son, for Your gifts and calling to Israel is without repentance, just as they are to the Church. Thank You that even when we are faithless, You remain faithful. I pray that many may come to see Jesus as their true Messiah in the days that lie ahead. In Jesus' name, AMEN.

“Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.”
