Thank You, Father, for Your gracious gift of prayer that enables me to enter Your throne room of grace any time, knowing that You have granted access to all who are bought with the precious blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank You, that I may come boldly to Your throne of grace, so that I may obtain mercy and grace to help in time of need.
I thank You that I have been imputed with the righteousness of Jesus Christ, for by His death and resurrection I have been made pure. Lord, I want to live a life that is pure and holy in Your sight.
I pray that You would deepen my faith in Your precious Word and my trust in Your unchangeable character. I ask that in Your grace, You would strengthen my inner being through the power of Your mighty arm, and the strength of Your Holy Spirit.
Let my mind be fixed on Jesus and when wrong thoughts or foolish doubts enter my heart, I pray that I would take those thoughts captive and banish those doubts from my mind, as I look to Christ and rest in His unfailing promises.
Lord, when I am tempted to sin, I pray that I may quickly look to You and away from the temptation. And should I sin Lord, I pray that I would immediately fly into Your arms of forgiveness, for You have promised that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness, so that we may be renewed into sweet fellowship once again with Yourself.
Thank You for the wonderful example of Christ my Saviour, and I pray that I may grow more and more like Him with every passing day. In His name I pray,
