Praying through Isaiah 64:1

Father God, thank You that You have promised to be with me, no matter what difficult circumstances invade my life. I lift up my many brothers and sisters in Christ who are facing increasingly hard times. We are all watching and waiting for the soon return of our Lord Jesus Christ and join with the Spirit in praying, "Come, Lord Jesus." In these increasingly difficult times, I ask for Your strength and courage to face whatever lies ahead, knowing that the suffering of this present time is not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in me and that nothing can separate me from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus. In Jesus' name, AMEN.

“Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence,”

Praying through Isaiah 64:8

Loving Father, I come to You in humility of heart and ask that You make and mould me into a vessel that is pleasing to You, for Your praise and glory. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.

“But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.”

Praying through Isaiah 64:12

Heavenly Father, thank You for the example of Israel's faithful little remnant who continued to trust You in spite of all the suffering and pain they endured. Keep me from being discouraged by all that is happening in my life and the wider world, and may I continue to trust You in all things - knowing that Your plans and purposes are perfect and that Your promises are all 'yes' and 'amen' in Christ Jesus our Lord, in Whose name I pray, AMEN.

“Wilt thou refrain thyself for these things, O LORD? wilt thou hold thy peace, and afflict us very sore?”
