Praying through Isaiah 61:1

Heavenly Father, my understanding is so limited of all You are and the untold mysteries that surround the triune Godhead and the incarnate Word of God. Yet You loved me so much that You came in the Person of the Lord Jesus Christ to die for my sins so that I might receive the good tidings of great joy which have been given to all people; the joyful news that by grace through faith in Him, I have been forgiven of my sins. Thank You that the Holy Spirit indwells me, comforting me and binding up my broken and bleeding heart. Thank You that in Christ, I have been set free from the bondage to sin, from the curse of the Law, and from enslavement by Satan. Praise You, Lord! AMEN.

“The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;”

Praying through Isaiah 61:10

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your many gifts of pardon, peace, and purity, of faith, hope, and love. But above all, I bless and thank You for the greatest of all gifts, the person of Your dearly beloved Son. I am so thankful that He died to redeem me with His precious blood, that He lives forever to make intercession for me, and that He is coming back as my Bridegroom to take me to be with Him forever. Thank You, Lord, in Jesus' name, AMEN.

“I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.”
(Isaiah 61:10)
