Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word of truth and the many lessons that I can learn from its inspired pages. I pray that I may grow in grace and in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Rock of my salvation Who gave His life for me so that I can live for Him. I pray that I may not be influenced by the philosophies of this world or by the apostasy that is creeping through much of the Church today. Help me to look to Jesus and pursue after righteousness in His strength. In His name I pray, AMEN.
Heavenly Father, how I love You and bless Your wonderful name. Thank You that the Holy Spirit is my indwelling Helper and Comfort Who has promised to be with me always. Keep me, I pray, under Your wings of precious comfort so that I may be a comfort to others in their time of need, for I know that those who would seek to harm me will fade as the grass of the field, but the Word of the Lord endures forever.
