Praying through Isaiah 43:1

Loving Shepherd of the sheep, thank You for Your gracious promises, not only to Israel, but to Your new creation in Christ. Thank You that You have redeemed me, called me by name, and I am now Yours, by grace through faith. I love You Lord. In Jesus' name, AMEN.

“But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.”

Praying through Isaiah 43:2

Loving Lord, as I face the storms and flames of life that appear to be so overwhelming, may I remember Your Word of truth. Help me to recall Who You are and what You have promised to all Your children. Help me to secure my hope in You. Thank You that You have promised to be with me in all the scenes and circumstances of life, for You are the all-powerful, all-knowing, all-gracious God Who loves me with an everlasting love. Praise Your holy name. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.

“When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.”

Praying through Isaiah 43:10

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your goodness and faithfulness to Your people, Israel, who for so long have been a nation living in unbelief and in rebellion to the truth of the gospel. Thank You for Your long-suffering mercy and the assurance that they will one day fulfil the work that You have called them to do, to believe on You and to be Your witnesses to a world that is lost in sin. Thank You that in Your grace, You called out of the Gentiles a people for Your name, to tell forth the good news of the gospel of grace until the day when Israel proclaims the gospel of the kingdom and acknowledges Jesus as their Messiah and Lord. In Jesus' name, AMEN.

“Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.”
(Isaiah 43:10)

Praying through Isaiah 43:21

What a wonderful God You are. Your grace, wisdom, love, and patience toward me, causes me to rejoice greatly. There is nothing to commend me to You, and yet You have called me and chosen me, saved me and fashioned me to be Your witness to this generation, and in the world to come, life everlasting. Thank You for Your gracious character and redeeming love. May I sing forth Your praise, not only with my lips but in my life, forever and ever. In Jesus’ name I pray, AMEN.

“This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise.”

Praying through Isaiah 43:25

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your faithful promises to Your people Israel, thank You for Your faithful promises to the Church, and thank You for Your faithful promises to me. Thank You, Father, that Your wrath against my sin was poured out on the Lord Jesus in my stead, and that in Him my sins are not longer remembered. Praise Your holy name, AMEN.

“I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.”
